  • Great version and era- remember how the west coast shows were well known to have that hometown advantage and soul ~ but the westies were very cool to those of us east coast boys who hitchhiked across America ( Umm from show to show, parking lot to parking lot- oh well - from brother to brother)

  • I was watching an interveiw of david letterman from 1987 and jerry garcia and bob weir were on there and they both said they played terrible at woodstock.

  • Yes as Phil said they never really caught the flame after Brent died. That was the best line-up for the Dead when Brent was in the band.

    out of the blue we decided to go to the capitol park (in sacramento) and wouldnt you know it! but, i swear thousands of others just showed up Ive never seen that park so full

    and we all sang this song for about 15 mins true story *clap clap clap clap clap*
