LOL why is everyone mentioning Dragonforce on a Avantasia song, 2 completely different types of genres within Metal. You write only as good as the music you produce.

Toby produces quality music & lyrics, where Dragonforce is mostly just speed melodic metal. In anyways most melodic lyrics suck when it comes to melodic speed metal. Take Stratovarius, their music kicks ass but some of there lyrics suck casue Timo usually wrote lyrics that were hit'n'miss

Dragonforce wanted to play songs like Avantasia, so they did;) Avantasia isn't that fast and their lyrics are better and there's more emotion in their songs(just my opinion) but if you want to give all metal a name in kind of type, the're together I think. Melodics, no screamo or worse, nice solo's and damn good!

Fir anybody who may be wondering, the meaning behind this song, is that it is based around Kiske's character, who is a sort of human guardian-angel for the Scarecrow, trying to keep him on the right track.

Hi guys! Well, the truth is that Tobias not only provides the equipments and studio, but hi was the dreamer, who made up his mind to do this projet. The whole Avantasia story was dreamed and formed by him. He writes all of the lyrics, and the original story of Metal Opera was written by him as well. Avantasia is not only music. Avantasia is a higher level of culture and art!!!! It's something that's not reachable for simple mortal people!!! I love it really!

As amazing as this song (and the Scarecrow as an album) is, Metal Opera was much better. Especially with songs like The Seven Angels and Breaking Away. The Scarecrow just can't live up to either Metal Opera.
