Hi All! Thanks for your nice comments about my daughter. We agreed that the choreo was not great, and we figured that she had way more ability than her teachers were giving her credit for, so we moved her to a new studio!! She's doing awesome, and is still tumbling and working her flexibility. Check out her newest solo above in the the "Video Responses" section. The first one is her new solo from 2009 - Raven. She took platinums and top tens at most of our comps!

She competes in Acro, which IS a category of dance at competitions. If it wasn't, she wouldn't be able to compete. If you have a beef with the category systems, don't take it out on a kid.

this is an acro. at competitions there is a catagory for acro which this had to be in.

haha wow people. this is ACRO! please, it annoys me how people who compete in jazz and stuff and get 1st place for only doing turns and tricks. but this is ACRO as in ACROBATICS. so, basically, she was on target. and she was amazing! :]]

she is SO flexible but i dont understand why she cant do leaps. and at her kick at the begining was really low but you could tell she could've gone way higher!

Its called go to a gymnastics competition, not where people work their butts off to win a trophy for dancing not some gymnast :(

She competes in Acro, which IS a category of dance at competitions. If it wasn't, she wouldn't be able to compete. If you have a beef with the category systems, don't take it out on a kid.

it was good for a little girl
but she did not have balance and she always sickled her feet.
She would do better of in a gymnastics compotition.
if you pause the video during all the candlestick turns or arabesques you will see her foot sickled.
still it was cute
