Yes, we climbed it on 11th December 2009. The route is more normally climbed later in the season as the snow ice takes a while to form properly. We were not sure if the ice was good enough. As it turned out the ice was perfectly good enough but not exactly fat!
It was a fantastic day, the weather was perfect and the views stunning. The ice was all there but not very reasuring! We were not sure that it wouldn't turn to crud half way up a pitch ... thank fully it didn't!

So did you actually climb it in December? I've always thought it best to go after Christmas but maybe I should be heading up before as well...
