I was at this concert on Boston! It was my first Tori concert. You could hear a pin drop throughout this whole improv. Just beautiful. So emotional and powerful.
This is IMPROV? AMAZING! Goodness, as much as I love Tori Amos, I can never find more recent live performances of hers that sound this good. I hope that she records this song as well as more songs like it in the future.

I disagree with a lot of you that she isn't still writing powerful songs on the new albums, but that is just me!! I am a bit sycophantic!! LMAO!! I think Strong Black Vine is very powerful and Curtain Call extremely moving and has that rawness people are saying she lacks lately. Anyhoo, thanks for making this video, as always, she is totally engaged with her fans and I can't fault her!!

This reminds me of the Playboy Mommy demo, where all the emotion was spilling out and the ideas weren't quite pieced together yet. This song is killer. I can't imagine how amazing it would be if she gave it a little more time. I hope we hear more of it.

She is still an incredible live performer, especially in improvs, though the records she produces seem a bit chastened somehow. It is this kind of genuine letting-go vocally that I have felt is missing from her recent albums.
I just feel like she should actually produce unadulterated stuff like this in the recording studio. It's more mature in the best way possible.

i do hope this is a new song in the works too. it reminds me of a b-side you might have found with pele. its way too good to be just an improve. Bring harpsi back tori please! (or at least try theremin tee hee)
i was @ this concert also and was thinking to myself..."is this a bside i have never heard?!" and when i realized it was an improv my jaw just dropped and i have never been so mesmerized by a performance! it was remarkable and hope this is on the next record. a night i will never forget!

Sounds liek a GREAT new song! Guys, I love Tori, so don't take this the wrong way, but this sounds better than any studio recording she's done in years and years... A bit like a B-Side from the LE or UTP or BFP era and I LOVE THIS. I'd like her to release stuff like this (again)

There is an audio yes, it's on the Boston Legs and Boots CD! 19th October 2007.
Still not convinced this is an improv. Sounds too much like a new song to me!

This is my favourite orginal song she's done since To Venus & Back. I totally agree with you.
I went the night before this was done and I could have kicked myself for not hearing this when I could have gone both nights!
