so i have been riding intimidator 305 since opening weekend through mid may weekend, finally went back yesterday, and the ride is not the 10 rating i gave it anymore. The ride is noticiably different. the break going down the the 1st drop is a total drag. It completely killed the huge airtime we used to get on the 2nd hill. but i understand it was neccessary to lessen riders grey outs on the initial curve. i give it an 8/10 now. its still a good ride, just not the baddest & meanest anymore.
@coasterluv We have tried the new restraints and the slower start yet, but I'm in favor of them. I loved the unbraked ride, but my daughter kept passing out in the first curve. I know that a few of the folks who rode the ride, not only passed out but would beat their heads against the restrains. One kid came off with a seriously damaged nose. The ride was a magnificent monster, but it was also a lawsuit waiting to happen.

who likes six flags great adventure in new jersey? i went there monday, GREAT park, the roller coasters there are unbelievable. and i know how everyone loves airtime...get on el toro, i've never experienced so much air time in my life. best wooden coaster out there, hands down

@coastercrew My mom screamed "CLINT!" at Dorney and I was like MOM!.... xD But I was walking back from Steel Force for like the 6th time and I was like, hey guys look at that guy's ha-... OMG ITS CLINT NOVAK. Than I was walking towards Hydra which was CLOSED and my mom yelled Clint... Lol.

I think the straps are a lot more comfortable and it makes it a smoother ride. Now if only KD would do that to Anaconda, they'll be in good shape!
