She's magical... first time I heard her sing "Century Plant" I was mesmerized... there was such a connection. I was like "WOW!" and I turned to the the two people beside me and they said "Huh?"... I think you have to be kindred spirit with dear Victoria to get her music. I just love her music!

I've been listening to, and appreciating Vic for decades. She is an amazing songwriter, and performer dedicated to her craft in a HUGE way. She's unique, and some people can't grasp that, but she grows on you... I can only hope people listen to her message, not only is it worth hearing, it's transforming.

Yes, she's unique and absolutely outstanding in the American songwriting panorama ( and Sweet Relief is proof that many great artists have been overwhelmed by her talent). Plus her voice fits so perfectly in her songs I find it hard to understand its detractors.

MS has affected her ability to play guitar and piano, so she switched to a banjo run trough a reverb. At one point, MS had affected her sight, but it returned. Like everyone with MS, she has good and bad days. But as far as I know, it has never caused her voice to change.

Wow how cool! I saw Victoria in a small club in Manchester UK in 2001. She was amazing, i sat there in the front row with my pearl jam sweater on and she moved the mic stand and sang Crazy Mary right in front of me :) she then came and sat down and signed some stuff and had a chat. Was one of my all time favourite gigs

Vic is the bomb!! I saw her live in Toronto at the Rivoli in 1988 (opening for Peter Case). It was love at first sight for me. She is an amazing singer-songwriter. The message of "Century Plant" is so inspiring! We're invited to rise above our personal pain and come out and play. Truly live life to its fullest! I love you Vic!!

Victoria Williams has always been acquired taste. If are into American Idol and High School Musical, you probably won't appreciate the genius of Vic. I think many kids may think this song is written by a fictional character named Bert Hanley from the 2003 movie Camp but it was written and recorded by Victoria Williams for her 1994 album Loose.
