Honestly I'd say this could be better and more powerful if you remake it, and fix a lot of the small problems. I know it's a short movie, but you should add another minute ore two in there just to flesh out the character. He's sitting in front of a toilet talking about wanting to kill himself then walking around with a backpack for some reason - doesn't make sense. Throw in some interesting camerea angles and fix the sound.

And you don't have to act 'big' during a close up - its a close up.

Major lack of story and horribly directed. Directing your actors to overact CAN work (i.e David Lynch films) but in this case it just made me LMAO. your technical issues need alot of work aswell (i.e sound). My advice would b to start with the basics.

First of all, have any of you joined a festival of this time limit or less? It's no joke. Creating films from start to end is not easy when the clock is ticking.

The story is the problem with this movie. Why are young adults so convinced that suicide is what people want to see? Keep your target audience in your mind ALWAYS.

I know from experience how difficult it is to construct a serious story on no budget and with no real actors. The key is to make things believable and to limit dialogue. Concentrate on narrative and visual compositions. Aim low and keep it realisitic and interesting.
