its okay. the brakes could be better. you should be able to loosen the bottom bolt and swing the caliper up but the hose is too short so you have to remove the clamp which is tricky. the leather seats aren't the best. I liked cloth better. the seat heaters are really hot because there is no control. I probably would wait for the 4cyl turbo.

i admit, the 07 accord isnt that great. a comparibly equiped sonata le, is $1k less, but... the accord has more safety features, real tires, and doesnt scream "I DONT HAVE MONEY FOR A REAL CAR, SO I GOT THIS SONATA!" as ppl laugh, you remember that your lease payment is actually more than an accord that costs $3k more. because the accord's worth 50% of its msrp after 36 months, the sonata's worth 39%, therefore you have to pay for more depreciation, the lease is actually more. save the headache

you need to do your homework, scooter. the sonata has as many safety features(6 airbags to be exact), is highly crash rated, bigger inside, and my sonata v6 has tires from a small company called MICHELIN. ever heard of them?? i got mine fully loaded, leather and all, for 22,132. honda wanted 28,000+ for the accord. i could care LESS about resale. you dont get much anyway.

I had a HyundaiSonata 2007, after 3 months of use, the engine started rattling alot, i went to the dealer and they told me that this was an known issue and maybe there could be a recall for all Sonata engines. After that i sold it and bought a 2007 Camry, 1 months and the car feels like my wife bmw.

One of the best cars on the market right now. I would say its equal to if not better than the Japanese Camry and Accord. I've got the LX and its nice. It blew away all competition from the American automakers and was better value compared to the Camry/Accord.

in 2007 they put a 166 hp engine in the accord but before that it had a 160hp. well the sonata only has 162hp that small difference really does not matter. you get more car for your money plus the Hyundai looks better.

By looks, every car looks good when is new, but as a mechanic i can tell your that Hyundais overall engineering quality is the worst in cars industry, they last some years, but after that be prepared for a nightmare in repairs.

i have a 2006 sonata. as a honda fan, it was the refinement and attention to detail, and the price that made me buy one. i dont know where "original" is comming from, but usa today had an article on reliability. problems per 100 cars. top two? lexus and hyundai! in that order!
