The real pity is that catching the different languages in this movie without the original dubbing is almost impossible. In the original version, the male actor plays the role in Japanese, the android instead replies in Chinese.
P.s. I've realized only after watching the whole movie who that actor was...It's Takuya Kimura (maybe the only Japanese actor in this script)! Holy cow! Pretty smart of me, ahahahahah :)
Il vero peccato é che afferrare le diverse lingue in questo film senza doppiaggio originale é quasi impossibile. Nella versione originale, l'attore maschile recita in giapponese, mentre l'androide risponde in cinese.
P.s. Ho realizzato solo dopo aver visto l'intero film chi fosse l'attore...E' Takuya Kimura (probabilmente l'unico attore giapponese scritturato)! Ammazza! Molto acuto da parte mia, ahahahahah :)
@lucapaolo: you're right, but talking about statistics, most of the people interested in Asian movies/directors ARE familiar with Asian languages, or cultures, at least. I'm not saying that everyone is, but many of Wong Kar-Wai fans would be able to recognize them.
Bellissima scena... doppiaggio impeccabile, anche se rende diversamente nella versione originale.... grande Kimura!

Takuya's voice is the sexiest in the world, the same as his looks!
Hope some major film makers get him out from Japan.
Takuya forever!!!!!

@robinhaze
that's true, but one not familiar with the different asian languages wouldn't notice that anyway

Anyway, Italian dubbing sounds brilliant too.
