  • Drive a steak into the ground and run a wire from this too the generator frame. No one tells you this.

    Use GFI protect extension cords.

  • Overall not a bad story but when you plug in the CO detector its not going to work . Tha's because they told you NOT to hook the generator to your  internal wiring. You can get battery powered CO detectors

  • Actually you CAN back-feed your house without a transfer switch. It's illegal, but it can be done.
