  • cyberdaytona...great job. who's kit is it? whose gauges did you use? where did u get the indicator lens? ...u guessed it trying to finish my own.

  • Niiice

  • I think the wheels really kill it if i'm honest. If you could somehow find good lookalike star wheels, it would look much better.

  • Dear metalOnOrockoholic,

I think the real Ferrari 365 is much better too ... but the cool thing about a replica is that you can enjoy the beautiful design of the Daytona for only a fraction of what a real one would cost ... if you could find one for sale.

I wish we all had a real one!

  • I think the real Ferrari 365 is much better.

  • Why on earth would you sell that? The Jaguar based replicas are so very close to the original. And that dash & console look so authentic. Very good job on that one.

I have a Vette based one that is about halfway finished. I haven't decided yet on flip-up headlights (cost & headaches) or Frenched.

  • The British replicas were all Jaguar based, I thought through Fiat shut them all down?

  • I know that Ferrari of N. America worked hard to rid America of replica Daytona production as an infringement on Ferarri 'trade-dress' during the 'Miami Vice' days of the 1990's. Not sure, but always assumed the same happened in England with the big 3 producers of nice 365 GTS/4 replicas: Robinhood, RS and the spectacular Autokraft Arrow.

  • I was looking into buying a Daytona replica based off of a 1980 Corvette. It was very real looking, even the front lights where just like the real car. I couldn't get it though, it was in Hawaii and would have to be imported into the continental US.

  • an automatic? What motor? What chassis? TIA.

  • T700-R4 auto tranny. 1988 L98 350 V8; C3 chassis.

  • Thanks. Quite impressive replica. I've seen some w/o the windwings, for example. I like the lack of the rear side markers--they definitely uglify "the lines". My fave relatively recent road Ferrari might be the 'C4'. Doubt if those have been replicated!

  • @cyberdaytona

Awesome build. Who built it? And where did you get the dash and center console? Thanks!

  • Was the buyer blind, the interior let it down man !

  • Just so you don't lose sleep over the interior that you obviously don't like ... it has been totally redone in all black and a perfect replica dash has been added.

  • you sold that, are you on glue !!
