Lived in Baja in 2001-2002, didn't go to school when I was 14, just rode on my 450r with whoever would vacation down there. San Felipe was where I was but I've gone all the way to La Paz on my ATV with people from all over the world who'd just come and ride the trail down. Always love seeing some Baja vids. If anyone knows some drag vids from those years in San Felipe send me the link, you'll probably see me sitting me on my quad watching.

I have a 2008 Honda 700 and this quad is the shit. I don't understand why people talk shit about it. It doesn't do good in the dunes. Why because of the independent suspension. If the reason for people not liking it because it grips to much then they should learn how to ride. Overall the Honda 700 is a monster especially for hill climb.
@LouieDog27 to answer your question the best selling quad for the last five years in the usa is the raptor 700. obviously the yamaha guys are gonna talk shit about a bog bore honda. Now for myself i just like lighter bikes I ride an ltr 450 and this beast would be too heavy and big for my taste.
Yes the parts are hard to comeby but give it till summer they will have more aftermarket parts out i just hooked my honda 700xx up it is a animal raptors are garbage they cant hang wit my bike lol
whenever i go out to the pits with my quad people stop and ask me what the hell is that?!?lol nothing seems to stop it. i had it up to the seat in mud puddles and it was still going. i just found all the aftermarket parts. i had to call itp directly for a wheel and tire package to get a part number. they told me its a special order item.

The thing I don't like about 2nd hand bikes is that somebody could have flogged it... I ride my friends Polaris 325 and its High, Low type gearing so no kick-up. The Honda here is so much better.
If you don't want to spend too much then try looking at the 400. Its 9k in Australia.
