  • Bake my mold first the do a good coating with 5-15 minute epoxy, You never need to coat it again

  • hey wht plastic stuff do you use and ware can i get it?!!?!!?!

  • @SMCCrunningback its called plaster of paris, you can get it at home depot fro around 10 bucks

  • how long does the glue mixture last for?

  • Thanks for all you great details. What can be done if your mold breaks can you clue it back together?

  • dude your sooo smart bro

  • if i made softbait from old softbaits would they smell the same to the fish

  • @MrOntariofish thank you, why didn't I ever think of that website!

  • can you make a video on how to melt down old ripped baits?

  • where did he get the soft plastic formula? i'm really interested.

  • @fishify16 go to lurecraft(dot)com they sell plastic, molds, colors, glitter and everything you need for pouring

  • good job man but the flaping flownder looks like shit but good video

  • @Fishingallday31 why are your baits so chunky and thick? isn't the action compromised because of the thickness

  • @TheZamboon No, I use a super soft formula that maintains durability, while still giving the lure erractic action in the water. The reason for my lures being bigger than most, is because I point my lures to the big bass direction, hence the company name Big Boy Baits. I always loved hooking into a big boy, so I make lures that help you do that.

  • if you are using baked clay be sure to put vaseline on it, or it will stick to the plaster.... learned that the hard way....

  • one thing I think he forgot to mention is to let your water/paris mixture sit for a minute or two to let it thickin or it will have this water layer on top when it is setting, maybe he doesnt do it but I just thought it would be helpful I learned it the hard way

  • can you use any type of clay?

  • Wat kind of clay do you use?? Please answer. Thanks!

  • Nice vid! So you can put the clay bait on the pan and pour the plaster?

  • r u selling molds?

  • thank you so much for putting up this video!

  • i have my own dazines ang ill try the clay and pour the

  • can u make blue gill swim baits Because thats what bass hit on where i live

  • have you thought of putting some metal wire or wooden sticks or plastic sticks in between the molds to give the mold more of a support so it wont be that flexible and more sturdy

  • @xfiles1952 Great idea. I will have to experiment with that.

  • what's the name of your website

  • @fishingallday31 so baked clay won't work?

  • @fishingallday31 u should put a paddle tail on that beaver and turn it into a swim bait

  • @fishingallday31 so hard baked clay won't work?

  • hey man 1 question... how old are you?

  • so if you cure it it will stink up your house

    \

  • @AFROdude00 No a whole lot, but it will leave this strange industrial smell. Its hard to describe. Do when your parents arent home, and make sure to have that febreeze handy haha!

  • @Fishingallday31 so can u use vegy oil to oil ur molds

  • @fishingallday31 forget 40 bucks hell i'll raise my price to 50 and so you don't bake the clay you just leave it soft?

  • @megadeth99waystodie Sounds great man. Thanks again, and yes leave the clay soft so that you can pull it right out of the mold. The lack of oxygen while the clay is in the mold will stop the drying process of the clay, so you can leave it overnight if you want with the clay inside it.

  • @waveskater817 they to have no action compared to other named brand productions plus I still feel like my adviice is helpful they make bait have more natural look and better action as it falls.

  • @howLOLOcanyougo No action? Trust me, and everybody else who has used my lures, they have action. The plastic I use is 4x softer than the "name brand" companies.

  • thank you so much man and i will send your baits with a money order with it about 40 dollars so just throw in what cost 40 bucks of bigboybaits for me

  • @megadeth99waystodie Thanks for your business. I will come up with a really good selection of lures for you.

  • sweet vid, what kind of clay do you use to make your baits?

  • @TNJonBoatfishin I get natural clay from the craft store. About 7 bucks for 10 pounds, its a great deal.

  • Good video some advice you should add more adppendages like a brush hog more ridges like a sweet beaver these will give it more action so maybe a brush hog/beaver/devil spear

  • @howLOLOcanyougo He's not trying to be like other companies, he's trying to make stuff VERY original which is what he is doing. His baits work, no need to fix something that's not broken.

  • how do you make your videos that long? Youtube will only let me do my videos 15 min at the max

  • @theBassmastrr98 They will if you get a certian number of views or subs.

  • where do you pour in your house because i dont want to make my house smell

  • @maplestar67 Basement

  • really informative and interesting!

  • thats so cool i cant wait to do that

  • do you have parents haha? my parents would kill me if i did all that, especially the tub part :O Awesome video though man

  • does it matter between hot and cold water

  • thank you sooooo much for making this vid perfect!!!!

  • just wondering have you ever caught anything off of the "flounder" cause i cant see any bass biting that lol

  • @valricobass Oh haha no way, I can't see bass eating it either. Its for saltwater, mainly big Redfish, Snook, Striper, Jacks, and Tarpon.

  • @Fishingallday31 oh damm haha i wasnt even thinking

  • @Fishingallday31 you might also wana coat the pan with cooking oil spray stuff

  • where do you get your molds?

  • @TheAirsoftknowledge Seriously? Did you watch the video? haha

  • Very nice! thanks for making the video! Another thing you could do is coat the whole inside of the molds with epoxy and it makes it alot harder so you can't screw up the mold as easy. Its also smoother. Nice mold though!

  • do you have to use the Glue and water every time you make a bait or not??

  • @gdog4117 If you don't, there might be small imperfections in the lure. I do, because I want perfect lures for my company. Thanks for watching!

  • is there any way to make a bait with a round belly?

  • @Bassfisherkid14 You can make a two piece Plaster mold, but it is harder than this, and you cannot do swirls, dual colors, or any other cool tricks that you can do with handpouring.

  • Thanks for the vid, very instructive. You answered every question I had about making plaster molds. Keep making vids and I will keep watching em'.

  • @DrHouseIAint Thanks. Glad I could help.

  • I have also been waiting for this....for a long,long time......AWESOME!!!!!
