Keep the old THEME!!!...I remember watching HNIC from Depew, NY over the airwaves. It was fuzzy but hearing the HNIC song was a beacon for my brother and I as we felt special being able to watch hockey on a Canadian station (CBC).

Peart's rendition of The Hockey Theme also available to fans on iTunes on January 19 and his custom drum kit used to record "Canada's second national anthem" to be donated to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

He also wore a hockey jersey featuring his "Bubba's Bar & Grill" logo on the front and the number three on the back, in reference to the three members of Rush. CBC has lost its way. I remember during the last strike they would show movies on saturday night..they called it "Movie Night In Canada" and they had Ron Maclean as the host.
