Well excuse me, but Hope is a realistic Character unlike most RPG Teenie Heroes. In real Life I'd really like to see a 14y young Boy stay cool and having a cocky Smile on his Face while being encountered with a mutated Lion. I guess you get my Point.^^

@strongtheory its not complicated, but yet the most interesting fighting system. I just love using shifting to different paradigms cause of the sound it makes and the different combination it gives. Also the little cut-scene where everyone poses and changes xD I love seeing the word paradigms shift and than words like Solidarity, Diversity, Havoc, Tide Turner, etc. But one of my faves is Divider and Conquer.

@TCQMindTricks If you paid attention the uploader did too. Constant battles may be annoying but fighting them can pay of in the long run. Items gil and exp are very valuable rewards when accumulated.

i feel the game doesn't provide enough time between battles for the plot to grow emotionally. the scene that were meant to be emotional wasn't, all they did was add more cheese, and corn.

Lightning is like this pent-up rage emo. I hate those. They drive me nuts the most because I lived with one and they are insufferable pricks. Hope is like the selfish sissy boy; yeah you lost your mom, he lost his fiance, call it even. Only character I really like is Sazh, he's level headed and for the most part calm; and for god's sake not happy-go-lucky derpy. XD LOL I like the way this Playthrough is composed though.

there's ONE thing wrong with that game, its that there's no exploration in that game :( you keep going straight forward all along.

Of course, that's the way Hope sees it. Snow had the message from his mother to keep him safe, but Hope doesn't know that yet. Snow doesn't know it's him whom he has to keep safe as well.

@narutofreak1456 leveling in this game is a little different compared to the other FF games. You mainly use the crystarium to increase your stats and learn new abilities and so on and so forth. Battle enemies to gain CP, and spend CP on your crystarium grid. Also, the other side to leveling up is to level your weapons and items. You learn this later in the game when you're allowed an option called upgrade. There, you can use items to add to your weapons and level them up.

@Whittjee hey no problem. I had to figure that out when i got frustrated that i was already in lake bresha and i wasn't leveling up, then i found out you had to use the crystarium. I like it because it's so much like the Sphere Grid from FFX. The only problem with the Crystarium is that it will level cap youat some point and the only way to expand your Crystarium then, is to move forward with the story and fight the area's boss. So what i do is grind, max out my grid, fight the boss. Repeat...

Is the Paradigm Shift a similar system as the gambit in FF12?

@moboss11 Kinda but it's more like dress spheres from FFX-2, it swaps what abilities your characters would use and the statergies of your companions depending on which paradigm you changed to. Paradigms are a group of roles so like Lightning and Snow could be commando and Vanille a Raveger, you can then Paradigm shift in battle to a different set Paradigm so then Lightning can stay as Commando but Snow becomes senitel and Vanille Medic. Later on in the game you get to set your own Paradigms.

So yeah Paradigm shift is just swapping your team between different set Paradigms which is changing the roles of your members in battle.
