Now, this is my opinion. I know many people will hate me for it; I still have to share it.

I've heard that Nirvana is the modern-day (90's, I mean) Beatles... on steroids. And this sounds like a Nirvana song sort of. Could it be possible that the Pillows are the modern Japanese equivelant to the Beatles?

Good observation! in fact during their early years, the pillows were influenced by the Beatles and later during the 90s by Nirvana. Sometimes the pillows cover Nirvana's songs as well. I think there is a video of them playing Breed here on youtube. But anyway, your observation is right.
