  • LOL,I can just imagine people laughing if I screw up my parallel park in my brand new Titanium - I chose one fully loaded, but without park assist. Lol, better go practice my parallel parking - not to let Ford down))) Great car - for all of you posting not so positive comments) I traded in a car that had 1/3 of these abitities, but cost 3 times as much. I am very happy. Great car!!!

  • that guy is so cute.

  • who needs this? Change your tires! Drive sideways...

  • Now you become a professional driver with this car!

  • I was going to sarcastically comment on how hard it was to parallel park, but then I remembered seeing these idiots taking 10 shots at a spot and still not getting in right, so my attention was then directed to wondering how on earth you get a license without knowing how to park your car.

  • My friend just bought a brand new Focus Titanium. When she tried to use Park Assist in ran a tail light into a mail box, breaking the tail light and chipping the paint. Will Ford pay for this?

  • @nghisus Tech fail.

  • @nghisus The funny thing is that people will actually believe you. XD

  • @xxshady The funny thing is it actually happened. Luckily I found a taili light on ebay for $50. That's the part that's hard to believe. If an object is at a certain height above the rear bumper it won't recognize it.

  • @nghisus You realize you control the brakes right?

  • @xxshady I didn't do it. But obviously its flawed technology. Do you own one of these? I don't. But it did happen to my friend, call it a lie, call her a dumbass. You can say whatever you want. The system isn't perfect. The mailbox was in a blind spot to the sensor and the driver and it broke her tail light. Do you work for Ford? Are you a professional driver or a test engineer? Not sure why you're so incredulous. I got it. Troll.

  • @nghisus You seem very sensitive for someone who is flaming a car on YouTube. I'm an owner of the 2012, and i've never had any problems with autopark. The lack of news reports about the "failure" of autopark technology would agree with my stance.

  • @xxshady Hey, if you want to be a Ford fan boy go ahead. I don't think I have to go as far as show you the invoice for ordering the new tail light.

  • @xxshady And one more thing. I'm not flaming the car. I'm flaming the automatic parking system. I think its a great car. It handles well and it get great gas mileage. I actually steered her towards buying one and she ended up with a Titanium.

  • I really like the soundtrack of this video please tell me what's the soundtrack's name, thanks!

  • ala verga no mames nomas falta que vuelen que 007 ni que la chingada jajaja

  • See once it was asked, but still no answer...Who ise the author of the background music?

  • so what happens when it screws up and hits a car whos to blame

  • @jimmyjimjim4567 it has sensors lol , so if something jumps in while its parking itself, it would be that persons fault

  • what's the name of the background song?

  • 2012 Focus Technologies? 2012? Volkswagen had this in 2006.

  • @KaiserBecks I don't think so.

  • @Agoka47 Well, it doesn't matter what you think. Just google "Volkswagen Park assist" or watch one of the videos here on youtube -> /watch?v=96qgHWYIkPw&feature=related

  • @KaiserBecks It's a 2009 car not a 2006, so I still don't think they had it in any car what were on sale.

  • @Agoka47 they showed the finished prototype in 2006, it went on sale in June 2007. I just picked that video because the actual parking looks similar to what they're showing in this commercial.

  • @KaiserBecks If you show me the video, where the 2006 car parks itself, I'll believe in it.

  • @Agoka47 watch?v=OmDmoaiD-Gw

  • @KaiserBecks It's not the same car class. I believe they had it, but not in that class. :)

  • @Agoka47 gosh, I really don't give a fuck. I said that Volkswagen had this technology in 2006, not that it was in the same class. The Golf, which is in the same class as the Ford Focus (they actually call it "the golf class") is available with a park assist since 2008. If you have any further doubts use google first. This Ford ad is complete bullshit, no matter how hard you're trying to deny it.

  • @KaiserBecks You're right, you really didn't say it's the same class. :D Btw. I don't think it's good for us, becouse if our cars park instead of us, we'll just forget parking.

  • @KaiserBecks Too bad VW can't make a reliable car. Even most VW fan boys can admit they make an exciting product but not the most reliable. I wouldn't pay to own a VW when they charge BMW money to fix them with Chrysler like quality.

  • Who is the guy??? He's so cute and u LOVE his face expression :)

  • Toyota prius was the first one!

  • GOSH I WISH IT WAS MINE..I dreaming here!

  • car for monkey....

  • "your Focus will parallel park itself with almost no input from you. And it will do it nearly three times faster than competitive park assist systems can." So whats the mad rush with parking a car into a space then Ford? I didn't realise everything was such a race against time. Mind you, you can't keep those double glazing sales reps waiting any longer. They push a button to park and they can answer the phone, send an email and do sales records while it parks itself Lol.

  • cant park a focus you shouldnt drive XD

  • @DevPack Because most Ford drivers can't drive...

  • @1ns4ne1d10t so i guess other automotive companies with park assist cant drive. which is pretty much all of them.

  • @DevPack FYI: Seats don't have park assist or parking sensors. Mine doesn't have parking sensors so that isn't one of the automotive companies on your list. I don't need them I know how to drive and park. I coped with a Long wheel base Mercedes 311 with a broken drivers mirror. I never reversed that into anything not even at Tesco or Asda or touched anything with it paralell parking it and that old crock was 2 estate car lengths long had one poxy mirror with no parking aids whatsoever.

  • @1ns4ne1d10t dude what? No one should rely on sensors and parking aids for them to drive. Im just saying they are pretty much coming standard in almost all vehicles now. It looks like we will just have to get used to it.

  • @DevPack Sorry I misread your comment that was my bad. I worked for a rental company and they stick them in everything even the really small cars. Sensors are handy if you drive a big car but in anything smaller then a BMW 5/Merc E its stupid. They stick them in tiny little hatchbacks and they aren't that accurate and reliable. They can vary. I bumped a Volvo V70 against a C class because the sensor beeped like I wasn't near it yet I jumped in another V70 and it underestimated the length.

  • @1ns4ne1d10t LOL. i did the same thing i have a ford fusion and the sensor decided to stop working half way and bumped right back into some old piece of crap. But yea you cant rely on them so just have to have proper judgement when you drive.

  • @DevPack Relying 24/7 on computerised sensors is the worst mistake to make. Thankfully I was able to wipe the scrape off the C class and hide it but it taught me that computers can get it very wrong. One guy hired a car off us when I was at enterprise it was a brand new black Vauxhall Insignia Elite. He threw it backwards and crunched straight into a Fiesta behind Youch. He didn't want to pay up because " The parking sensors didn't work" They aren't designed for speeding you know Lol.

  • @DevPack I've just been watching a park assist advertisement. Park assist dry turns the front wheels on the spot. That is not a good thing. You never steer your wheels from left to right when the car isn't moving. You can kiss goodbye to your trackrods, steering alignment and tyre tread. Here in England that is a fail if you are sitting through a driving examination. When I was learning to drive my driving instructor would grab the wheel and bollock me if I ever did that.

  • If you want to parking between Corolla and Fiesta...

  • a prueba de pendejos! jaja

  • genial

  • '

    no no no thank,,,

i dont like this focus car,,,

    yes FREE parking lot,,,

no no no need to pay parking meter timer at all,,,

pay parking meter timer is a big crime, dirty, nasty, ripoff

  • @bestamerica

Everyone has their opinion on which cars they like.

And your argument about parking meter and all that stuff has nothing to do with the FACT this new Focus can be equipped from factory with park assist. I think someone really hates Ford, that´s the only thing you write in every Focus video I see. Envy or what??

  • luisinhoens90,

    '

    hi there,,,

dont use 2 words - YOU / YOUR - on me,,,

let explain about this car and parking meter,,,

    that is all

  • @bestamerica

Watch out for grammar Mr. Bestamerica. "You" is one of the most common pronouns in English vocabulary. So why should I skip that? I think I´m not being rude.

That explanation doesn´t give any reason to not like this new car but anyways anyone is able to choose any car they want.

  • luisinhoens90,

    '

    okay no problem,,,

many people are not perfect in english, grammar, language,,,

let people wants to getting focus cars,,,

    not me

  • @bestamerica

Don´t worry dude, I´m not American as well, English isn´t even my main language, it´s Spanish but I´ve been told that about pronouns long ago. I, you, he she, it, we, they, etc. are needed in almost every sentence, otherwise they are incomplete. That being said the next time one person says You don´t feel angry, is a pretty common pronoun in everyday English.

Enjoy your car whatever it is ;)

  • luisinhoens90,

    '

    that is okay,,,

i have 2 nice vehicles and NOT focus at all

  • @bestamerica Are you drunk man?

  • Yeahh, class exclusive in the US. Not in Europe though.

  • lol, its making fun of daimler because it is parking behind a nissan versa by daimler. the ford fiesta behind it is cheering it on. the versa appears to be depressed.

  • great for the disabled that use hand controls.ford whats next.love it

  • I tried it on a launch event , only thing you need is to operate brake and accelerator ..rest is magic. ......

  • Hurry up and bring it down under - Australia.

  • im getting this car soon.

  • @bigfocusfan12 sucks to be you then, its the worst looking focus yet, the other focus's have looked sleek and real good but this is just hideous.

  • I need this....you should see my alloys. :-(
