I beat this boss without taking any attacks. How?

Well, I simply ate one of my Invisi-fruits, entered the room with the boss, and started attacking the boss repeatedly.

I either used a Magic Mallet or a Magic Staff. (I can't remember which it was.)

And today, I just found out that the Magic Mallet can only be used so many times. (I knew about wands and the Magic Staff running out.)
