How come when i put my action essentials presets such as blood, muzzle flash, etc in the clip, in after effects. The black background is still there. When I adjust the blood layer to "screen", the black disappears but the blood layer or whatever I have becomes transparent. What do I do??

@hamptonpanthers You would put the video of the guy below the blood on the timeline and line it up... if that doesnt work then you would go to the modes and set the blood layer to screen. If you cant find the modes then go to the very bottom of the timeline and press the Toggle switch/Modes button and there you go. The first way should work though.
