One of my friends who marches Blue Devils told me that when they unload the truck or something that involves an assembly line, they sing the tuba part from 1:43 and pretend they are the guard XD
What some people don't realize about this specific activity is that when you are in the corp, you can't quit; it takes commitment and focus to do something like this. The judges don't care if you are hungry, tired, bored with a show, or if you have a stomach ache; this is your only priory during the season so make it look like it.

This is so amazing. One of our marching band instructors was a part of the Cavaliers. He is awesome. Marching Band is a dying art, but some of the most amazing things I've ever seen are on the field. The football players just need to permanently get off our fields :)

This is so amazing. One of our marching band instructors was a part of the Cavaliers. He is awesome. Marching Band is a dying art, but some of the most amazing things I've ever seen are on the field. The football players just need to permanently get off our fields :)

this should still be on ESPN. why not, when ESPN manages to find time for the spelling bee. i'm a talented speller and i love the bee, but let's face it. that's about as far from a sport as competitions get. if ESPN shows it, they should- and can- show this, no problem. but i suppose the reality is that DCI just can't afford it.
