@shadowstation I want to add some "bigger names" to introduce you post-rock: "Godspeed You! Black Emperor", "This Will Destroy You", "65daysofstatic", "Balmorhea" (listen to "Truth"!), "Alex & Jonsi" (I dont like "Sigur Ros" that much but this project is incredible!) and "Mogwai".

I found post-rock a couple of months ago. This Will Destroy You was the first band i listened to and damn - they destroyed me and gave me the ambiente and power to rebuild myself. Since then I was... no, I AM addicted

At this point I have 30 gigabyte (about 350 hours) of post-rock on my hard drive (illegal loaded but im buying little by little everythin. so its fact that the music industry makes money with my illegal loadings). Nevertheless I am knowing about new bands every day.

Post-Rock's just the best genre ever.There is no other genre with this much opportunities in making music.

I look for music by typing in what I like into search engines and listening to on youtube. If I like it I buy it. @tool85pushit At the cost of a guitar, drum set, and free pipes to sing with I'm sure they can sacrifice some mp3's. If the band is really that good, I will buy them. If they have a good sound, they will be found. Most of the bands I know and love wouldn't have a CD in my collection without first hearing the mp3's. Not many people wanna waste their money going on a few good tracks. We're still in a recession here, and I'm seeing that some buskers and street musicians are making more money than..

i cant think this is bad music. i find this beautiful and all... but listening for postrock since ten years, i begin to believe there is so many bands making the same kind of tracks. bands like laura are hundreds. i cant recognize them from another. i still love this music but its like a great lake in wich i can take a glass of water who has still the same taste. a bit disapointing.
