Haha your a good guesser! i do yeah, elixir nanoweb light top heavy bottoms or light bottom heavy top, however ya prefer to look at it haha :P i only play with different gauge strings for this guitar like just for a beefier sound.....the other guitars i've got i use specific sets of strings for in specific tunings but all the strings i get are elixir cuz id be spending a fortune on getting new strings every week, my hands just eat them :P

@drumbun83 Nope, I didnt have any problems at all, it was set up pretty good from out the box and i didnt even need to adjust th truss rod or intonation either when i put it to Drop C from E standard,

Thanks for the answer. I thought it was me, although it seemed I did everything correctly. Well, will be bringing mine (black cherry, too, btw) back to the store for a proper setup. Keep rocking!

@drumbun83 No problem mate, I cant think what could cause fret buzz really when ya only changing tuning, so the only other thing i could suggest is the truss rod, that might need adjusting, but if you've just purchased it, take it back, they should set it up free of charge if they're a decent shop, You too dude!
