OK NEITHER ONE of the two bands are better than one another. they are both equally talented. THE FOUR HORSEMEN was made by Dave Mustain when he was with Metallica... making it METALLICA's song! He made mechanix because he got kicked out of Metallica and they still own the rights to his song. and to make it clear, He was kicked out because he and James argued alot and Kirk was the better guitarist. The are both equally great bands! Megadeth is just heavier and Metallica is classic amazing Thrash!

@AtHomeFunnies Jazz influenced soloing, amazing drum fills, killer bass. Yeah you're right it's not all about speed, and I never said that Megadeth was better cause they're faster. I said they were more talented and accomplished musicians!
@larsloveskirk Have to agree. Dave Mustaine is pretty much responsible for the whole thrash metal sound. He influenced Metallica, played with and influenced Kerry King, and created Megadeth. Even though Megadeth is always in Metallica's shadow, anyone who knows their history would know that Megadeth is far and beyond the more talented band. I love both bands but you're 100% correct. Megadeth has better musicians and is definitely more talented.
