What made the NWO and the Sting scenarios so successful during this time in WCW, was how INTERESTING it ALWAYS was. There was never a dull moment during this incredible run--you never knew what was going to happen, night in and night out, and at the peak of this situation, it was some of the best wrestling television in history! They were killing the WWE at the time with ratings, because each show was interesting, and the mystery of Sting was just the icing on the cake.

For one thing Steve Borden A.K.A. Sting is rather odd looking without make up. Jim Carey isn't odd looking. yes he can make odd faces and is known for being what is called rubber faced. I doubt many others share your opinion.
