NCMP was introduced by the PAP government in the earlier years because oppositions did not make any headway of being elected into the Parliament in the past, except for one or two leaders. It was not introduced to deny the General Election to the people but rather for the oppositions to have their voices heard in the Parliament. Oppositions still have the fair showdown with the ruling party in the General Election, there is no design in this NCMP to dominate the Parliament. False assumption,

I'm sure WP has many smart and passionate members. But why do they always stop their campaigns at stirring up emotions. It's not only WP. Many other parties have fallen prey to that as well. I just hope parties adopting mainly emotional appeals will be able to deliver should they be voted in.

Hougang HUDC privatisation project in Hougang Ave 7 cannot start due to Hougang TC (maintained by WP and chaired by Low TK) poor management.

Heard is a money accounting thingy.

who is playing scaring tactics...sounds more like WP..WP notion of a First World Parliament is parliament with more opposition. who does not know that...the problem is whether the opposition voices carry good ideas and suggestions...at this point i cant think of any ideas and suggestions - either by Mr Low or Sylvia- that have really change the lives of Singaporeans. Get Real LKY ! You should look at the mirror and retrospect to 50 years ago when you first contested the elections in 1959. Were you not in that same position?
