  • These guys are the best in the business.....

  • some of these scenes are from the high voltage music video

  • Modern music today seems to forget about the trailblazers before us. If you appreciate classic rock, then we hope you can appreciate our brand, which attempts to fuse this styling with modern rock. We would appreciate it if you subscribed our channel, became our friend, and left a comment for us. Help us build an online ODL Legion! And don't forget to check out onedaylate(DOT)com.

    Rock On! \m/ \m/

  • There were a lot of Aussie bands that had two or three British born members (Skyhooks, Easybeats, Men At Work, Loved OnesChurch, AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Little River Band, Air Supply, etc)... I used to think the British counter-part elevated the music, somehow... but then looking at the full-blown 100% Aussie-breed groups (Midnight Oil, INXS, Birthday Party, Rose Tattoo), it makes sense to me that it means shit where people actually come from, providing they can delver the goods... so who cares?

  • holy shit, i love this song so much. I don't think i'll ever get tired of it, forever on replay <3

The guitar solo is the fucking sickest.

WHY HAS IT TAKEN MY THIS LONG TO DISCOVER MY LOVE FOR AC/DC?! I DO NOT KNOW.

  • im going to walk to a restaurant on south b street im in grey sweats and black blouse then you will see flesh you can have-mine! this is insane-screaming kids-

  • Acca Dacca is what the Australians call AC/DC

  • @AdderallUser Yep, the people who were there to see the band right at the beginning and their children, are offically retarded; simply because they work hard, drink hard and affectionately call their favourite band 'Acca Dacca'... if the pig-headed troll from the US of A deems people retarded, then they must be retarded. Let's all give praise to the great Dr.Cunt.

  • @nzoz1976 Pardon me for not living being an Aussie and being on this earth long enough to know that ACDC was ever called "acca dacca".

  • what is an acca dacca?

  • RIP Bon Scott best vocalist

  • Thumbs up if all possible volume settings are at full blast!!!!!

  • Umm who is Acca Dacca?!?!

  • thunder cheek!

  • excellent video. way to sync!

  • I seriously love ACDC and ALWAYS loved this song..but these days those lines "for a fee I'm happy to be your backdoor man" has different connotations. The two meanings always flash in my mind when I hear this song...LOL

  • GOD WE'LL GIVE YOU ALL THE "SINGERS" AND MUSICAL "ARTIST" OF TODAY IF YOU GIVE US BON BACK!!!!!!!

  • BONnie SCOTland!

  • @bigderekkeene BONnie BOLLOCKS!

  • I'm just wondering here, and I know this is just a track set to some epic footage and photos, but why at 1:05 does Phil put his mouth up to the mic? He doesn't do backing vocals...

  • @PyrusPhantom The clip in which he does that is from the Jailbreak music video. If I'm not mistaken, the video should be in the suggestions to the right. The one highest to the top that says 1976 or something.

  • @PyrusPhantom He did backing vocals until cliff joined in '77. All the backing vocals on the songs up to and including the Let There Be Rock Album were done by him & Malcolm.

  • I wonder how many stoned people Tried to call that number listed in the song XD. It would be funny to know

  • @tperley people actualy did that and this woman got disturbing phone calls and someone asked Bon why the phone number and he said it wasnt a phone number (it was the optimal measurements for a woman)

  • love this video!

  • First time i hear this song i was 12 and having a very difficult and tough childhood and it helped me to have fun , rebel and start fighting for survival.God bless them,I probably wouldn't be alive without their (rage)inspiration.

  • ACDC the 3rd biggest money making artist in 2011 can you fucking believe that

  • 1:03 Did anyone else notice that Phil was singing into a mic? Because that's just weird.

  • @kingdawg237 Yeah, I think he did do backing vocals for the band in the mid-70s but stopped after that.

  • Blah de Fuckin' Blah --

  • mola!!! me encanta ac/dc!¡

  • does angus young do anything else besides banging his hand so diligently?

  • @sammyjny yeah he plays the guitar unless u havent noticed

  • AC/DC..feedtime...Radio Birdman..The Eat..The Hitmen.so many more.. Hell, Australia even came up with grunge in the late 1970's and early 1980's...

    Fekkin Oz Rocks!!

  • @humanonthetube

Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs and Lobby Loydd is the best place to start, although I would recommend delving as far back as 1964 with The Missing Links, The Purple Hearts and of course, The Masters Apprentices....

Then go forward into The Saints, The Birthday Party, Primitive Calculators (if you like aggressive electronic-punk), The Scientists... there's too many to name and nzoz1976 is not the only nzoz channel on YT.

  • @nzoz1976 Thanks much..That's the kind of info I need.. The stuff the fans know!!

Again, thanks. This will lead to lots of new worlds!

  • @humanonthetube

lol..... I do have nearly 40 channels based on every year of Australian music (this being the 1976 chapter). Not everything was good, but there is a lot of great stuff among it and I make it easy for viewers to follow, through playlists and video descriptions....

  • @nzoz1976 ACDC FOREVER

  • i was in Australia during the glorious Oz Rock period of the mid 70s and I remember the passion both audiences and bands shared for Rock 'n' Roll. The audience rooted for their local band with the same conviction the English have for their football teams. I remember there were different camps for each band. Rose Tattoo had a camp. The Angels had a camp. AC/DC had a camp. Skyhooks had a camp. Sherbet had a camp. The girls were sexy and scary and bands had to be tough - except Sherbet.

  • The real AC - DC...

  • nagyon jó!:)

  • cest nimp la video , c la video de high voltage pas dirty deeds done dirt cheap !! :@

  • BON SCOTT IS GOD.

  • Thirty thieves and the thunder chief! Thirty thieves and the thunder chief!

  • @DontEatEggs666 The lyrics are "Dirty deeds! Done dirt cheap! Dirty deeds! Done dirt cheap!" dude.

  • @WolfofShades THIRTY THIEVES AND THE THUNDER CHIEF! THIRTY THIEVES AND THE THUNDER CHIEF!

  • @DontEatEggs666 Bro, the song is named after the chorus. "Dirty Deeds! Done dirt cheap!"

  • AC DC Will Allows Rock Thumbs Up If Right!

  • @sheno97 are you just looking to have the most thumbs up cause that's an awfully cheap way of doing it. besides, just shut up and enjoy the awesomeness. XD

  • Why Are Yall Talking About Them Being Aussie! ITS NOT A BAD THING! The Point Is There Some Of The Greatest Mother Fuckers To Ever Live! lol :P R.I.P Bon Scott <3

  • @Insanerockmusic

Ugh... to a lot of people being Aussie is a bad thing. Trust me, I'm Australian and I have gotten the 'you're not a bad bloke for an Aussie' a few times in my travels.

  • @nzoz1976 reminds me of the wow you're really educated for someone from the South

  • @bayoubell1

*cough, cough* was all that many that you've eventually lost worth it Mr Hogan? * cough, cough*

I think we brought it on ourselves in many ways.

  • @nzoz1976 many? I mean, money...

Again: 'was all that money that you eventually lost worth it Mr Hogan?'

  • @nzoz1976 If someone says that to ya you punch their lights out!

  • @nzoz1976 I hate being a fucking American, the government is taking away our rights left and right and know seems to give a shit. I'd kill to be an Aussie, and I'm only 16 once I'm in my 20s I'm moving there. The closest I get to being an Aussie is listening to some good ol' Acca Dacca and eating at the Outback Steakhouse.

  • @dal3fan88

I can't support nor oppose your claim, because I have not lived nor experienced America, and any impression and conclusions I make is merely an (educated) guess.

However, I think Australia is a bit of a pancake now-a-days. It's sweet but flat and very work orientated. We do have exciting things happpening over here, like the music Festivals and touring acts that come in during summer; but most things in Australia cannot be enjoyed if you do not have friends.

  • My advice for any young person wanting to live in Australia, is to have an open mind, hold back on being critical of the country (leave that for later years), and generally, be cool with the people of the country - especially those who are your own age. Most young Aussies are friendly-open people, but they cannot stand an arsehole and they cannot stand hearing their own country criticised by foreigners. Best thing to do if drink and party 'em and just roll with it, and they'll be cool with u.

  • Correction: Best thing to do IS drink and party with with them!

    Continue:

Old AC/DC (Bon Scott) songs is the soundtrack of 70's Australia, and fits perfectly for the lifestyle of young Aussies of the 70's and 80's - a time when pub culture was potent and very prolific in producing local rockstars - many of who would eventuate to international success (INXS, Men At Work, Midnight Oil, to name only a few), and incredibly reckless-but-fun people. Unfortunately, that's a thing of the past.

  • The pub culture in Australia has been fucked over by the Government's placement of Poker Machines (which is a cash-cow for pubs and governments, but is also the cause of gambling addictions and the down-fall of the live music scene in Australia). In the past, Aussies worked hard during the week and spent their money on having a rage at a popular pub to an awesome live band (AC/DC, Cold Chisel, The Angels, etc). At the end of the night, you can pick up a hot bird and get laid.

  • Now-a-days (and this is the Australia you'll be entering) its about studying at university or holding down a job, meeting up with mate on a friday or saturday night and either getting very drunk at a pub (with no band), trying to pick up a conceited girl or popping-pills at some nightclub whilst tring to pick up a conceited girl.

It's just not the open-friendly place that it used to be (depending on where you locate yourself) and subconsciously, most Aussies know its a bit of a drag here.

  • Again, I will emphasize that 70's and 80's Australia was a very interesting and colourful place to live in. Aussies were confident with their sense of national identity. Our bands and music was as a good (and a lot of times better) as the UK and US bands and our girls were hot and friendly. We never took ourselves too seriously and our main agenda was to party and have a good time.

Even the Americans and the English that visited our shores during this time hold us in high regard.

  • Anyway, there is still fun to have in Oz and I do know a few Americans who have taken up residency and citizenship in Australia.

One American guy I know had only visited Australia as a tourist 18 months ago. He is now married to a beautiful (and successful) local girl, has had his first son last week, and he is now working at becoming a permanent citizen of Australia. His fortune has come out of the fact that he wasn't an arsehole. He has always been a nice guy, and that has rewarded him.

  • Good luck.

  • great song

  • I went to their concert this month. God, they rocket.

  • AC/DC ROCKS!!!

  • Listen cunts, they r Aussie, 30% of Aussie population r born overseas including me South Africa thats a hell of alot of people.

  • This Song isn't in Iron Man II but AC/DC is the Official Sponsor of Iron Man II.

  • He's looks like said "Dirty deeds and the thunder cheap"

  • simple, straightforward rock...no pretensions, no saving the world, no deep messages...just good music. The magic of AC/DC.

  • AC/DC were a part of the Australian rock community well before the UK had even heard of and/or cared about of them. Further more, upon the band's arrival in the UK, English promoters were labeling the group as a 'kangaroo punk band'. It seemed not to matter at the time where the band's key members were initially born.

  • 35 years later - Bon's gravesite sits in Fremantle (Western Australia). A street named after the band can be found in Melbourne. The band's songs are the soundtrack to the lives of many working class Australians. Angus still has an Aussie accent. Bon died with an Aussie accent. We're very proud of them.

Funny how people want to take largest chunk of the pie, once it's baked and is a success.

  • I will further my statement. Many Australian artists of the 60's and 70's had been British born. Many of them had no success outside Australia and even when they got a bit of attention, they were patronised and dismissed due to being Australian (even if members of these bands were British born).

So, come on now. Claim Masters Apprentices, Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs, Ted Mulry Gang, Supernaut, the Loved Ones and many others as British groups.

No hands raised? Didn't think so! Morons.

  • @nzoz1976 you could add Olivia Newton-John, The Bee Gees, to the list of british born Aussie success stories

  • @wazza67 I could also include Colin Hay from Men At Work; Red Symons of Skyhooks (off the same boat as the Bee Gees), John Farnham (the king of Australian pop)... and to further this, give credit to America for 'giving' Australia Johnny Disel and Malta for giving Australia Joe Camilleri...

However, I don't think that really matters. My point is, when it comes to success, it seems some people want to take the largest slice of the pie.

  • @nzoz1976 COLD CHISEL for fuck's sake. How can you forget COLD CHISEL? Barnsey!!!

  • @LordInksworth yeah... you're right... my personal favourite band that only Aussies seem to give a shit about, yet are completely dismissed elsewhere. Jimmy Barnes is Scottish-born and pretty much has kept his accent for all the nearly 50 years he has lived in Australia. But who the fuck is trying to claim Barnsey back?

  • @nzoz1976 Damn right. Chisel were great, Barnsey was great with them and after them. I'm Scottish. My cousin in Oz sent me a Chisel tape in the early 80s I think. Wild Thing just blew me away, sitting next to my wee tape player on the floor. Cheap Wine. Khe Sahn. Bow River. Great stuff. To any Scots who never heard of them: go and find out NOW!

  • @LordInksworth how can you forget Barnsey? answer easily

  • best band ever

  • Sorry about my mistake in earlier comment! *rock in peace Bon.

  • 95% of teenagers would kill themselves if the Jonas Brothers were about to jump off a building. Copy and Paste this onto your channel if you are one of the 5% who would yell "Jump!"

  • What is that thing in 0.15? Happy birthday Ang and Rock in peave Bon, we all are missing you!

  • Great song

  • I guess since they are technically from Untied Kingdom, makes the United Kingdom the best at producing rock musicians.

    The beatles

    Ac/Dc

    Black Sabbath

    Ozzy Osbourne

    and many more.

Any one else agree with me?

  • australia dickhead

  • @l7ebels YO, dick head! Malcolm, Angus and family immigrated from Scotland to Australia when Angus was 6. Learn your history before you post a comment, bitch.

  • @HardRock2Day l know my history shit head.. if you had a brain then you would understand that where the band forms and release their music from is who they are.. • 30 ans aujourd'hui ....

30 ans déjà que tu nous as quitté ... Et je suis étonné que peu de gens y ait pensé ... J'ai eu beau fouiller, surfer sur la Toile pour voir si il y avait quelque hommage de prévu... Rien ....

Et pourtant encore aujourd'hui, quand on pense, quand on écoute, quand on chante AC/DC, tu es toujours là, présent dans les mémoires ...

For Those About To Rock,... I Salute You ...

    A toi Bon .....

  • love acdc man...just love em..gods of rock & roll :)

  • Comment removed

  • Well DUH!

  • @amonamarthfan421 had a 'new' singer for 30 years now

  • @amonamarthfan421 now? that was 30 years ago

  • Where are they also known as "Acca Dacca"?

  • Acca Dacca is used in Australia

  • AC/DC lives 4ever

  • these guys bon scott and brian johnson mna, if they sang together it would be amazing

  • that would work if bon scot was alive

  • I was teaching at a school when a kid did the riff from this song. I was the only person old enough to remember seeing these guys live- with Bonn Scott, of course. thanks.

  • Bon is the bishop of rock and roll in my eyes. Because he would tell these stories in his songs, about how they evolved into a rock band to begin with, how they got to the top, Let there be rock was almost a history lesson of rock music itself. Back then, people didnt have shows like vh1 behind the music, but a Bon Scott song was dam sure close.

  • Acca Dacca 4 life

    FUCK the rest................

  • argentina es el unico publico q conquisto esta banda!!lo demas son todos aburridos!! pappo vive!

  • ALL AC/DC Rock !Got To Love...

  • GOD BLESS BON SCOTT!!!

  • Shit, i accedentally clicked bad for skipperrox99 About comparing the singers

  • i love both singers... Bon's voice fits the old AC/DC songs, and Brian's fits the new..... why can't people stop comparing and just love AC/DC...

    R.I.P Bon

    ilu Brian XD

  • you have to compare...bon scott had a unique sound. never heard anything like the guy before or since. he was truly the best fit for this music.

  • To me, Bon was best at singing these songs. Brian isn't as good at singing the old songs Bon originally sang. But i can't imagine Bon's voice on, for example, the Black Ice album.... In my opinion, Bon was best at the work he did. And Brian is best at the work he's done.

  • @skipperrox99 Finally someone with brain...

  • I agree completly.

  • fuck to all those people who compare brian and bon they both rock the same

    AC/DC forever you dirty people

  • Wicked tune!

  • And on another one (sorry)

  • on 1 comment (one by Mattmoo36 about metal or rock...) i accedentally clicked thumbs down, but it is soooooooo THUMBS UP!!!

  • Yeah, the young brothers got it after seeing it on there sister's sweing machine.

Acca Dacca however is a loving nickname imposed by AC/DC fans in Australia and New Zealand.

  • i thought AC/DC stands for Alternating current / Direct current .

  • bon was so much better then Brian imho because like..Brian was trying to fill Bon's shoes you know...sometimes it really gets to the point that Brians trying so hard that he just sounds like shit..bon was pure and bon was the sound

  • Wtf ? You got to be kidding ...

  • well, dont u think brian is better for AC/DC? brian has a voice for hard rock

  • @Zooroonies acctually he has the perfect voice for blues

  • Bon and Angus together, they were like a fire out of control........HOT...!!!

  • 1.09-1.18 AWESOME

  • this is the high voltage video not DDDDC

  • I've explained it before... but i guess I'll have to EXPLAIN it again.

This video (whatever source it originates from) is the video that was used as the video for DDDD. I don't know the story behind this video; but for many years this was used in Australia as the video for DDDD... and judging from it's various sources, it appears to live up to its title 'done dirt cheap'.

  • Acca Dacca f'n FUCKEN rulz...

  • metal or rock, no one cares. This kicks ass, why can't we just leave it at that? RIP Bon Scott

  • their hard rock overlords, thats it.

  • I must say to give credit where credit is due Brain Johnson did one hell of a job singing dirty deeds. However, no one sings it better then Bon Scott.

  • they are rock and blues

  • nothing like metal, they are rock.

  • errrrrrrr ur wrong AC/DC is rock and roll metal is matalica
