  • that looks like its absolutly no fun and i would hate that.... tracer rounds look sweet

  • Wow, Im surprised no ones asked where the Mortars are, If you are wondering what they were doing, they were illuminating.

  • @TheLonelyFissh well thank you for clarifying that but as you stated... nobody asked

  • @crouchtrac Well, Im sure it's saved us from 11 year old MW2 weapons expert from saying "this video name is retarded wherez the mortaz lolol shoop tha woop"

  • @TheLonelyFissh oh shit yeah! as it goes I guess I owe you a thanks

  • @crouchtrac Now worry's mate, I hear your going Royal Marines?

    Could i be correct?

  • @TheLonelyFissh hopefully man yeah, got my PRMC 2nd November, going to give it my all. If I get into Recruit Training I'll feel more confident then :)

  • yep

  • i did not hear or see a 50 cal

  • correct me if im wrong but im prety sire that the gun firing @ 1:13 was the M2

  • are you stupid

  • Yea theirs a 50 firing in this

  • wth were you guys shooting? some armored plates? And it looks like someone was only using tracer rounds :P

  • Just beautiful!

  • good vid

  • wtf is making the bullets ricochet?

  • The bullets are ricocheting due to them impacting with the ground and bouncing up towards the sky...

    -Tobe

  • ooo...i thought they'd just go IN the ground but ight gotcha

  • It depends on a number of things,

    A) Density of the ground

(The looser the ground the less chance of ricochete)

    B) Angle of the shot compared to the ground

the lower the angle the higher chance of a richochete.

Sort of like the same principle as throwing rocks on water and they bounce)

    C) Caliber of round fired

    etc etc..

    -Tobe

  • Actually its the tracers that are ricocheting.

  • yes they are and the normal non tracer rounds as well that we obviously don't see due to the darkness...

  • wow, tracer fire illuminated by magnesium flare mortars, it's almost... beautiful.

I can see the effectiveness of those illumination mortar rounds now, light the place up like a sports stadium at night. Pity the poor bastard who thinks he's safe to move at night and caught under one of these.

I hear the IR flares work just as well but only to those with Night-vision sights/goggles.

  • The video really doesn't do justice to the flares. Those things are ridiculously bright.

  • reminds me of shooting stars!

  • OK. I guess mortars could be thre too. It seems since '99 on my gun course, you guys now get to fire m-203's and claymores. Not fair! Thats OK. On my gun course we had Leopard II tanks LAV-3 to direct fire. We alsio got to fire 105's. That was a hoot.

  • Hmmm... judging by the tracer deflection, I'll bet this is the Meaford MG range! I love it there. The targets are old tanks and APC's. Maybe even cement 8" blocks stacked up like in my MG course. On this range would have been C-6, C-9 and .50's ONLY. No mortars. The glowing ball in the sky is a para-flare to illuminate the range. Otherwise you can't see anything.

  • what are the tracers hitting?

  • its fun watching tracer rounds fly

  • Dude, thats frickin amazing!
