You can't play PS1 games on a PS3 unless it's the very first model with 4 controller ports. There is also a fat PS3 model with 2 controller ports and the PS3 slim model which do not have backwards compatibility with PS2 and PS1. I just use my PS2 to play my PS1 and PS2 games. Most of the greatest wrestling games were made on them. :)

It is not "weird". It is ridiculous. There are animations in this video that are still used in the last SVR. Ten year old animations. Some of them are sure to be present in the next game. There's no reason for this. No excuse.
