I attended the game too. And I thought the Beckham jeering was stupid considering he was the best player on the whole field that evening.

Trust me. That was quiet in comparison to a big game in Europe.

LOL you have to be kidding me. That game was loud. Maybe with roofs like England it would be louder but we were in a completely open environment.

Beckham isn't even the best player on the Galaxy. Landon Donovan is our best player. Anyone who would think otherwise is daft.

The Becks jeering wasn't stupid. It was LA Galaxy fans showing him that we didn't like him shitting on our team. He got the message and it has stayed with him all season. He has played harder since then.

He's younger, he's faster, he is better at finishing, he can use both feet to cross and shoot at pretty much the same level.

The only thing that Becks is better at is bending a ball. Even that isn't as good as it used to be. So yes if I had to choose one to be on my team I would pick the 27 year old with more talents than the 34 year old one trick pony. Admittedly he is pretty good at his one trick.
