I loved all Greenaways movies but this was unbearably dull and pointlessly over-indulgent! Last great movie was Baby of Macon. The best A Zed And Two Noughts, and The Cook.

You should mention the name of the composer. The score is written by Dutchman Louis Andriessen. Hi did with Greenaway two operas: Rosa - The Death of the Composer and Writing to Vermeer.
