I have this phone. And you can use the data when you have very low signal. I've done it TONS of times. Yeah its slow but you can still use it.

If you can get the sprint Airave it gives prefect signal and makes your data connection so much faster :)

Didn't know you can still use data with low signal or that there was a Sprint Airave. The Airave is neat you buy it bring it home plug it into a router and once all the lights on it turn blue PREFECT signal. Of crouse you have to pay a monthly fee but I don't think its that much... you can probally check it out on Sprints site.

if you get the touch, please get the touch pro...i dont want you to go to the hassle of the htc...mainly the texting takes like 4 years to send one text message...i have a treo 800 and i love it..i had every treo sprint had to offer from the 650 to the centro (a centro is a treo 690) to the 700 to the 755 and now the 800...the 755 is cool but i feel the same way about windows mobile...so if you dont mind having an antenna, get the 700wx for windows or the 800

both are great with the 755p u need to hard reset once a month to keep viruses out.

i dont know if your aware of this but a centro is just a treo 690...it was just the successor of the 650 for sprint and the 680 for whatever company had it...i owned it and personally, i hated it...it was the worst, most uncomfortable phone ever

its a great phone for measseging because it gives you a threated view that looks like chat it is not too bad for email and the mobile browser gives you a pretty decent speed, how ever for myspace, you have to use myspace mobile and not the office myspace page

Has anyone had any success during hotsync???? When I try doing it with my Treo 755p it gives me an error message.. But if I go to device manager, the palm Os is there so my computer is reading the phone perfectly.. Any suggestions?????

I have a question for you Mobilitysite. I'm planning on buying a Palm Treo 700Wx, is it a good choice ? or should I wait ? I'm in Canada and my cellular provider does not have the Treo 755 and besides, I would like to use Windows mobile. Oh, great review by the way.

I have the same problem, i want the windows mobile, but i also want a good phone, and alltel doesn't have 755p, and windows mobile 6 is coming soon, but my plan renews now so i need to decide. the starcom doesn't look bad either.

nice vid, i gave up my treo 650 that i had for two years and got a 755p yesterday i hope it is as faithful. also the adapter you couldnt identify is an adapter for use with most wall and car chargers to charge the treo, most samsung and lg chargers can be used to charge the treo with this adapter.
