I use a similar technique to make my own fake blood, i add a drop of green as well, to give it a slight brown tinge in the right light. I also make it by the bottle of corn syrup, and cook it all to really blend it in. Then store it in the fridge. It doesnt coagulate on use though. Good job by the way.
