  • i going to try this with pvc pipe my sefl next halloween and see what happens

  • have you stopped doing your haunt?

ps. Looked at your location on google maps, shows your graveyard. Pretty awesome

  • @MI1KE3X OMG, that's awesome Google Street View came by at that time. It must have been pre 2009. No, we're not doing our haunt there anymore. Basically stopped for now. Though, I still need to put up pictures from 2009.

  • have you stopped doing your haunt?

  • Impressive

    Happy Halloween :D

  • that was awesome great job

  • Great Job on your outstanding and hard work!!!!!

  • Dude great job on your house first of all and 2nd that fog machine trick is badass and I give u made props. I'm going to do this now cuz every year I try and find a better way for my fog machines to work and well u justt ehlp me out. Halloween is going to be even sicker this year. Mad props man

  • what music and what brand is it

  • This is GREAT!!!!!!

  • Incredible.

  • I searched everywhere and i cant find the Irrigation Hose at Home Depot or Lowes

  • Looks great! Well done.

  • that is nothing short of brilliant for that fog effect. we are going to do that

  • can you tell me where to buy the music your using

  • @capitol9946 Does anybody ever take the time to read the "more info"?

  • Yep, I run ghostsofhalloween :) Thank you very much.

As far as a scooter motor, you could make a flying ghost using pulleys and bicycle wheels. Or make something spin, like a head. Or, build a rotating tunnel. :)

  • This is amazing! Are you from ghosts of Halloween? I've been using ur site for years you guys are awesome! btw I don't have access to any pneumatics or air supplies but i have a powerful electric scooter motor. Any quick recommendations on what I can do with it??

  • the wierd thing is that everyone knows its a fog machine and your not tricking anyone

  • @originalidentity Well DUHH! Wait, let me guess movies are fake too? :O

It's a freakin scene for Halloween, what do you expect? natural fog and real zombies? (Well ok, I would personally like that but..) It's designed to add to the theme which puts people off their edge. it makes scaring them easier, and gives a lasting impression. Scenery is everything.

  • imagine a whole street of those fog machines, cars would have trouble seeing the road

  • How or where did you get the fabric or cloth for your house. That is so cool looking I would like to add to my house this year.

  • @TheErickevin It's called beef tubing. It's kind of hard to find. I know there's one Halloween site that sells it. It's definitely worth it though. Pretty easy to put up and reusable every year.

  • i purchased a 1000 watt fogger from party city and it seems to not put out as much fog as it should. it makes a spitting noise also like it is sucking air, im using cheap fluid but not sure what the issue is. is that normal? can someone help me?? suggestions for fog fluid or something?

  • @dbartch I have never noticed differences between fog juice. I've even tried Froggy's "low fog" juice and wasn't that impressed. If it's sputtering perhaps the pump is bad or the nozzle is clogged. Can you exchange it for a new one?

  • @subatomix possibly, ill have to look into that, because i dont think that should be happening. thanks a lot!

  • @dbartch I run all the juice outta mine n put in a little of fog machine clearer juice, run it out and add fog juice,if u have any doubts if it works right take it back, could be a defect, maybe try another brand of fog machine.Good Luck.

  • @donttrustsnowmen 1 part water 1 part white vinegar also cleans the fog machine. But you just gotta deal with vinegar smelling air for a bit. lol

  • @TheLeprechuan vinegar is a multipurpose item, lol. Thanks for the tip.

  • I put a lot of holes in the tube and capped the end off then I hooked up the machine! Then smoke just went all up in the air nothing even went on the ground then I filled the whole tube up with ice and same effect.

  • @MrHotshot80246 Was it cold outside or warm? If it's cold, the fog will likely rise more.

  • I tried this and failed. Waste of a tube

  • @MrHotshot80246 What failed?

  • @MrHotshot80246 To me this looks like the best way to do it judging by the video. What part of this failed for you?

  • It's me again. It also looks like it is hugging the ground good. Is the fog chilled? Do you have ice in the pipe?

  • @RU4BN8OUT The end of the tube is capped. The fog machine puts out enough force to fill the tube. The fog isn't chilled, there's no ice. Just nice conditions. But, putting ice in the tube would help.

  • @subatomix Just tried this and it works great. Thx for the idea.

  • Hello. I don't understand how the fog makes it to the end of the pipe with holes along the way. Did you do anything extra or it just pushes it's way to the end?

  • Did you use any ice in the tube??

  • Loved the video! Where did you find the fencing?

  • I love it I did some thing like that for my haunt worked great then forgot about the fog maker and it stoped making fog until i filled it up again!!! That type of pipe is soooo versital and it is great how it rolls up and is easy to store

    thanks Ben please reply

  • 2 people were next

  • I tried this method and it really works well (with no wind), I froze a bunch of plastic water bottles and stacked them into the hose to cool down the fog...Works great!

  • It's hard to find in England and dry ice is like tryin to buy some kind of atomic weapon. But thanks for the info I'll hunt some down somewhere.

  • Hi there love the vid can you tell me what size the irrigation pipe is please.

  • @aevo69 I haven't seen any other kind of irrigation tubing that's black and round 5" diameter. It shouldn't be hard to find.

  • wow this is an awesome inexpensive idea you had, totally overlooked it. have you ever used froggy's fog? they supposedly make a denser water based fog. may have to try this out for 10 bucks.

  • @bball14585 I've used Froggy's before. I didn't notice that much of a difference honestly. Really, one just needs perfect conditions. Cold grass and no wind. Wind is your enemy, no matter how dense the fog is, it'll still not hug the ground if there's wind.

  • I didn't see anyone else ask, but I LOVE the fencing around your yard...what is it? Whats it made of or do you know where I can get something simliar? Thanks and I love your house!

  • What kind of spider webs are those? They look cool. I would love to get some of those.

  • where did you get the beef cloth for the web effect on your house????????

  • Your vid inspired me to make my first yard haunt thank u so much

  • 1000w VEI.

  • What Wattage of Fogger are you using? 1000, 700, or 400 watt?

  • No matter how many times I watch...it's always fantastic!! I showed this to some people when I worked for Spirit Halloween last year and they loved it. Kudos to you man hopefully we will see something of yours new this year? Hehe

  • Years back I built a fog chiller out of an old cooler chest but this has it beat for simplicity and cost. My old fogger died but I'm goingto get a larger one and then build this. And I know JUST where it's going this year. Thanks!!

  • love it!!

  • Superb haunt!!! One friendly suggestion; grab a truck-full of vines from the nearest patch of woods, lay them all over the ground, and creep them up the sides of the stones. Makes everything look really old and it's easy to clean up. Great job.

  • @GeorgiaBoi70 Great idea. Never thought of that :) Thanks!

  • Did you also fill the hose with ice?

  • @Miss1983Mandy Nope, but other people have. It's a great idea. :)

  • Awesome!

  • Thank you so much for posting this, i will have to do this.

  • died . . .. hgahaha

  • you need to have a pvc splitter theres more smoke coming out where th fog machine is a simple t shape pvc splitter will spread it evenly

  • that looks great im gona have to do that

  • Holy cow! Awesome. You must have been really pleased.

  • Looks like a Massachusetts cemetery

  • subatomix... this was awesome! I bought a ground fogger from Target, which actually does keep the fog low, but man you can't control where it goes worth a darn. After seeing this video I went to Home Depot and bought one of these tubes and the results are unbelievable. Lots of family coming over tonight for our Halloween trick-or-treat party. Can't wait!!!

Someone was asking for the price of the tube... $5.41 plus a couple of bucks for the end-cap.

  • @rcibera Awesome man :) I'm glad it worked out for you. These are the comments I love :) (Not ones where they didn't read the more info) I hope your Halloween was great.

  • how much does the pipe cost?

  • omg thats sweet!!

  • @ThomasUnivers01 It's not toxic, but can affect those with asthma.

  • What kind of fogger should I get? and do You have to refill the fog machine often doing this?

  • @AnalogX64 Don't waste your money on expensive foggers. Get the cheap kind, if they break, you don't feel as bad. But, I suggest getting one with a timer. As far as refilling, it depends on how much you use it. The large fogger seen here was on constantly and went through a gallon over about 5 hours. Other times, I've had plenty of fluid left.

  • This is awesome! I've been using 3 ten foot sections of drain hose, 1800 Martin fogger with a garbage can chiller using froggys swamp juice and have to say the overall effect just fills my neighborhood!

  • Then....a windy day make it useless :(

  • lol so badass :P

  • wow ur house is the best scary house ive ever seen yet lol great job

  • how many watts is your fog machine because i want ot try this but i dont think my fogger is powerfull enough to get the same result. please reply. thanks

  • Comment removed

  • Noice! Are there ways to color the fog?

  • I tried this with 1 10' section of pipe and the effect was great. I then added a styraphome cooler as a chiller and my graveyard looks great. Thanks for getting me started

  • @laurencestarr You're quite welcome :) Halloween is fun!

  • i have a large front yard and have been looking for something to displace the fog over the whole area. cant wait to try this, thanks!

  • Very clever. You've given me some ideas. Well done!

  • Sweet! I always hated when the fog doesn't stay low. I'm going to try this.

  • i wanna know where did you get your spider web or how did you make it..what kind of fabric is that ?

  • this is awesome thank you. Im so doing this this year

  • how big are the holes on the pvc ?

  • What is a fog chiller, please help soon I want to use a fog machine for my house on Halloween.

  • i want your house lol

  • Nice! I think I will add that line of tubing to my trash can chiller.

If you get your lawn wet first it helps keep the fog down low too :)

  • nice back ground sound effects crows and bells which cd is it?

  • How many watts is the fogger? This is very cool, I'm thinking of getting a fog machine and setting it up like you. I live in a very open, windy area. I'm wondering if the fog will even stay in the yard...your thoughts? 'Thanks!

  • will the heat from the fog machine melt the tube??

  • I'm trying to look for the music you had online, is there a specific site to get it?

  • Now that just plain awesomely errie! It definitely helped that there was no wind, and it followed the direction of the cemetery scene. Good job bud!

  • @ThomasUnivers01 not at all. Its just glycerine and water.

  • thanks im gonna make a halloween thing like you did thats amazing

  • sweet

  • nice job. what did you make the fence out of?

  • Ouuuu!

That's looks amazing! I feel like going all out for my house. But no one ever comes down my street because I pretty much live in the bush, if you know what that means :\

But still! That is some sexy fog work dude C:

  • The Hose is WAY less then 10 bucks. Closer to $5.00 at Lowes. Also get at least a 700watt fogger for this. 400watt isnt strong enough. Or get 2 400watt foggers and put one on each end.

  • The Hose is WAY less then 10 bucks. Closer to $5.00 at Lowes.

  • how did u attach the tube

  • @skater4life2241 Just put the nozzle of the fog machine into the tube. Doesn't matter if some fog can escape.

  • @subatomix will it look good without it still

  • Just awesome, i did you use something inside the pipe to cool the fog? i assume you could just hook a hose up to a fog chiller be it trash can or otherwise and the pipe would help to spread the length of fog to encompass a decent amount of space, just awesome you guys and great front yard!

  • what size house did you use for this?

  • fucking dope. this shit is fucking epic....props

  • I got one but it had slits instead of holes an it didn't work!

  • This is an amazing idea, thanks!

  • what is your fence made out of?

  • AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHH HHAHAH Thats bad ass!

  • I'm surprised the hose was enough to cool it down to keep it from rising too much. must be pretty warm there.

  • @JuicyFruitFresh It's not exactly about coldness, it's about density. The cold just makes it more dense. The tube itself helps to compress the fog as well. But, I think it also helped the grass was cool. :)

  • @subatomix Hey i saw the annotation that you could find this at home depot but i couldn't find the one you used, I looked online but no luck. I was hoping you could specify on the dimensions or length?

  • @subatomix well, that is true, but the coldness will allow it to hug the ground like fog, not float away like smoke.

  • well, that is true, but the coldness will allow it to hug the ground like fog, not float away like smoke.

  • @JuicyFruitFresh I was pondering on throwing some ice in the tube to help it also. But not so much as to fill it with ice

  • Hey I was looking at your video and i was wondering if you put dry ice inside the tube

  • @jeezzy14 nope, there's nothing in the tube. Though, if you do something like this, you could improve the effect by using ice or dry ice. The colder the better. It's all about making the fog dense.

  • what soundtrack is tht

    respond

  • @zackmindfreak12 It's in the more info

    think

  • dont get an expensive one anyways. 5 of the cheap ones or 1 1000 watt? 5x 400 watt = 2000 watt.. Seriously.

  • @AridSea I completely agree. I've had my larger more expensive ones go out on me several times, it was always the pump. Would cost $45 to replace. From now on, I'm getting cheapo $30 entire foggers.

  • @subatomix ill add on to that, i purchased one too, not worth to get the higher end fog machines, i had one go out, they sent a replacement so now i have alot of extra parts, but id rather just buy alot of cheaper ones for the same price... that way i can have fog output in more locations then one

  • great vid! I like the idea.... ya know the spiderweb in the background... Ive always wondered... whats it made off?

  • I like your idea with the hose, that way the fog is spread out, rather than conetrated in one area

  • thats just awsome i should never have sold my fog machine ..damm

    luv it man 10/10

  • Dude, 20 bucks at Walmart or target. You can get them so cheap. :) I'm not planning on buying an expensive one ever again.

  • The fog looks incredible!

  • What's the wattage on your machine?

  • all you need now is some red n' blue lightning to really get that horror-movie-look :)

  • I bought a PVC duct hose and drilled some very small holes in it, about the size of toothpicks. The hose is about 2 inches in diameter. Do you think this hose will be too small? I figure not, because there would be less space for the fog, therefore cramming it all together.

  • Yes I did read it'll work better I'm sure but has anyone really tested it personally? How much ice would u put? Fill the whole thing with ice to the max? Would the fog make it all the to the end of the tube if it's jammed pack with ice? I bought my set and testes it out last night and worked beautifully. The fog did lift up because the wind so I'm thinking of buying ice for Saturdays Halloween. It's just that should I pack it tight with ice or should it cover half of the pipe from groud up?

  • I would do half the pipe to allow the fog to get through.

  • Has anyone tested it out with ice in the tube?

  • Yes, you can see people's comments. If you put ice in the tube, it'll work even better.

  • Thanks for your info. I put this fogger together this past weekend with 3 - 10 foot sections of irrigation hose and sealed the end with a 4" cap which can be found in the fittings section next to the irrigation tubing at Home Depot. I used a 1000 watt fogger, and it works great, especially when there's no wind. I will post a video soon. Thanks again....jc

  • oh and is the tube pressed tight against the machine or is there a space for air. some people say that you need a space between the tube mouth and the machine nozzle for a better flow. Is this true?

  • To answer both: Yes, there's only one size. it's about 4" in diameter in the PVC section usually. As far as where the nozzle is, it doesn't matter too much. The hose is so large it doesn't impede flow. Just try both.

  • I haven't gone to the depot yet but is there only one size choice? How thick is the tubing I want toget the exact same stuff you use here, it looks excellent. It's called irrigation tubing, right? Online i only find hosing but this is not a hose, correct? It's hard to tell from the video.

  • i just bought the tubing hooked it up and works great i dont have a low lying fog machine but stuffed the tube with ice and made sure the holes were sideways .thanks for the info

  • i read your info but how do you attatch the tubing to the machine? just use tape or?

  • Just rest the end of the tube next to the nozzle of the fog machine. Simple :) When the fog machine is blasting, the fog won't come out of the tube that way. When it's off, some might seep out, but that's okay. :)

  • Does the irrigation hose that you are using actually have holes in it or slits in the tubing. The Home Depot by me down here is Ft. Worth TX only has the slits, no holes. Wondering if I should get solid drainage tubing and drill my own holes? I read all your info, any help would be great. Thanks.

  • has slits i just bought mine yesterday 3 bucks and 18 cents

  • what brand fog juice did you use in your machine?

  • Cheap stuff from Party City. I don't really think the "Low lying" fog juice makes much of a difference. It just has more glycerin than normal juice.

  • What audio is being used I LOVE IT! Please tell me!

  • Sigh, read the more info please. :) Like the annotations say!

  • This is so scary I pretty much peed in my knickers :(.

  • You did an amazing job - the sound effects were great also, very well done.

  • thats a good idea

  • nice!

  • what kind of fogger is it.

  • just a 400w one you can get at walmart

  • know way that is putting A TON OF FOG!!!!!!!

  • there are only small holes where the fog can actually escape. oh well

  • how long is it. I did it with a 12 ft length and with a 400w fogger and not that much came out.

  • the same happened to me. I actually put a 400w fogger on either end of the hose with about the same amount as you(12ft?).then i noticed that much more came out.

  • yah but i dont want to spend another $20 on a fogger.

  • and also just barley any wind ruins it all!!

  • true. i use mine for parties and stuff

  • wow, i can't believe i never thought of that. excellent, thanks

  • i have one of these. i acualy works really good

  • is it cut along the top or wat

  • thanks for sharing a great idea!

I'm going to go to the home depot tomorrow and get some irrigation hose. Have you tried the type with the canvas wrap on it? I wounder if that will slow down the fog and make it more dense. just a thought., cool video and thanks again.

  • Great video BEST FOG EFFECT I'VE EVER SEEN

  • hey great video i was wondering if that is really only a 700 watt fog machine cuz i would have guessed 1000 or 1500 by the power it has..

  • i would just put a litttle ice on top for a better look
