We should pull our troops out of Afghanistan. Let the Afghans figure things out. Use nukes if the fuck with us again. Simply put if Mullah Omar had given up Bin Laden and stopped the Arabs Afghanistan would be a different situation. Would it be peaceful? probably not.
I do give Al Jazeera credit in showing a point of view that our "independent" news media does not.

If Musharaf does pursue the Talibans out of Pakistan, it would be a major coup for him.

Actually, I'm hearing that the Taliban are GAINING strength in the FATA, occupying more villages, because the Army's too busy enforcing the state of emergency in cities instead. This is so stupid.
