I myself play a yamaha electric violin, Linzi is one of my Idols!!!

You should learn the acoustic violin first... When you play it first then go on to the electric violin, you'll see how cooler it sounds :D and it helps a lot you would learn how to use both even though it is the same :D haha You just have to know the notes well :P

Well I would give you this website for good lessons but youtube doesn't let people do that for some reason :/
