Yea and bc of that stupid flouride that I've ingested ever since I was little I have white spots on my teeth. I have very uneven color on my teeth makes me so mad. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

Hi Kelli, reverse osmosis is good for short term use. If used for long time periods it removes necessary minerals from the body. My solution was to find a company that RO the water and then added necessary minerals, three times the expense of RO alone though. I feel that the extra expense is worth it.

I wish I could go mill around in your grocery stores to see what all you guys have in there. That would be awesome. But since I can't do that, I have no idea where to start in helping you. I am not sure if you could buy the toothpaste over the internet. Try some "natural" or vitamin stores in your area. They might have fluoride free toothpaste products there! Peace.

I love TOMS, I'm not sure about know, I heard it changed, but TOMS used to put different fuloride in their toothpaste, not the one that is harmful. I believe it's Sodium mono-fluoro phosphate that is in TOMS fluoridated toothpaste, the harmful type is silicon fluoride and sodium fluoride. Natural fluoride is actually very healthy for the bones, but it's not the one that gets added to water because it's not water soluble, the harmful one on the other hand can dissolve in water.

@ArmadaVolya Thanks for writing! Tom's hasn't changed much since I started using it. Good thing. They do carry flavors that contain fluoride, so you have to read the labels! There is a great spearmint one that has NO fluoride. But remember to read. My husband accidentally brought home a tube the other day that had fluoride. Back to the store! lol

It's true. I've been avoiding fluoride for years and my friends who are huge advocates of it and incorporate it into their daily hygienic routine all seem to have memory problems. Big ones. They forget simple things like how they spent their work day or why they did a certain thing. It's ridiculous. These weren't dumb people, either. Over the years the people I once held an intellectual club with have decayed in intelligence and become more forgetful. Scary what these chemicals can do to you.

@AnEyeOfTheOpenMind Thanks for commenting. Getting the fluoride out of water is easy. Just get a reverse osmosis filtration system. I haven't done a video yet because we already have one, and I wanted to show how to put it together. And most water has fluoride. Just contact your water company where you live and get the information from them. They usually send it out once a year.

@TheVukovic111 Boiling water will not rid it of fluoride. Only steam distillation or reverse osmosis. Boiling water actually concentrates the fluoride. You might be interested in a home water filter - Berkey is supposed to be good.

So does this product actually whiten teeth, or does it maintain the natural whiteness of teeth? My teeth are like in the shade of 3/4, which is noticeably discoloured, so do you reckon a product like this will help for such teeth? Ty :)

@DanielleT192 It does whiten teeth, but gradually. The more you brush your teeth, the better it works. From day to day you may not notice a difference, but after a few months for really dark teeth, you should be several shades lighter than when you started. Let me know how it works for you.

@KelliInTheRaw thank you :). The only reason I am asking is because I have bought countless products that seem to have no proper effect. I was thinking maybe my enamel was weakening, so would this product cause more harm than good as it is a whitening product, which could be fairly abrasive?

@DanielleT192 If you feel at all like you have problems with your enamel, you should always talk to a dentist first. But your enamel can easily be grown back. I'm doing it right now getting rid of a cavity without having it filled. I have been taking Alfalfa pills. About 3000mg a day. I can already see a difference after a month! Alfalfa and other herbs can regrow enamel. If I were you I would make that a priority before the cosmetic work is done. Good luck.

When the tooth erupts into the mouth, the ameloblasts die because they are removed from their source of nutrition. So without ameloblasts where does the enamel come from? Enamel is a complex mixture of Hydroxyapatite crystals supported by an organic matrix. how is it reproduced?
