la seconda parte ha anche la parte discendente, quindi viene comodo il plettro.

Io preferisco il plettro xchè le note si sentono in modo più chiaro rispetto al pollice, ma comunque c'è chi sweeppa benissimo anche con le dita...

Lets just say that the best bassists like Victor Wooten, Flea, Les Claypool, and others like them ALL use their fingers. However, using your fingers gets a different sound then using a pick, I do both to get the sound I want depending on what I am playing

Both have their uses and both have their disadvantages. Finger-style allows for more flexibility, while a standard pick requires more technique.

And of course, it all depends on the sound you want.

I think novacelic and wooten have a similar four string bass style. but at least nirvana bassist chris novacelic would also play a 5 string bass. obviously, the five string confuses wooten as he chooses to stay with 4 strings, which is a wise choice.
