  • Built for use & abuse by any/all Strat-Slinger's of any ol' shape and size! These pedals RULE when used a set "EMG-SA" or David Gilmour pickups... trust me, this is a "ride" you cannot afford to miss!

  • God bless the post person!

  • anyone else think it sounds like dead meadow?

  • That's-it!!! I'm sellin' the ol' lady and gettin one of these!!!

  • We know its you jack, give it up. Or should I say, Thomas Jacob Black?

  • Ok, I love fuzz of all sorts and I want suggestions. I like rock and roll from led zep to black keys to hendrix to white stripes so pretty much any type of fuzz im open to. But my main requirement is I want something off the chain, I want something that Is rough around the edges, not smooth and controlled. I want it to sound legit, like the amp actually is broken (without breaking the amp of course haha). Thanks!

  • @secretagentYTer Try an Electro harmonix Big Muff pi. Those things sound really raunchy and rough around the edges to say the least.

  • I freakin' love this pedal

  • This guy really sounds American for having the name Germandude. I guess he's from germany....

  • @willeng84 haha its gear man dude.

  • @secretagentYTer I know I was just being a dumbass.

  • A Dick Dale song for a fuzz pedal demo, interesting..

  • Actually, the intro song is, in fact Bandito by Dick Dale.

  • Snakeskin shoes rock

  • oh hey, changed the pickups on your SG? Thought that one had humboogers

  • i cant decide between this or the swollen pickle..... ah screw it ill get both!

  • @neutron54 not a tough decison... go analogueman!

  • mmm nice dirty classic tone. im thinking the black keys use a lot of the analogman stuff. thx again and good luck in your travels Gulliver :)

  • @louism922

Yeah, Dan typically uses a sunface, not sure whether it's the nkt275 or bc108... But then again he's claimed that he has around different 100 pedals.

  • that dude sounds SO much like jack black... that would be soo amazing.. what a lad.. mad pedal too

  • killing with quality is the best way to kill.

  • Another bodacious video Gearmandude...you truly are one rockin' slab of cuddly goodness. Your marraige to

  • my ears just ejaculated

  • @toodead919 My penis ejaculated

  • Several years ago, I was down at Mike P.s shop picking up a different pedal (Sweet Sound Pro Bender), and I got to try the Peppermint Fuzz (This was just prior to it's release), and it's definitely one of my favorite-sounding germanium fuzzes. Sustained notes/chords have that cool, wavering fade-out that germanium fuzzes are known for, but the PF does it better than anything else I've tried. It has it's own thing going for sure. Not like a Fuzzface at all. More like a Tonebender MKII on acid.

  • Nice pedal, makes your guitar just sing!

  • they took an original fuzzface and killed it.... with quality >>GMD you crack me up

  • killed it.....with quality!

  • this or the astro tone fuzz?

  • idk anything about guitars but nice boots

  • sounds like..... jack black....

  • When I was at the smashing pumpkins concert 2 years ago I saw this on Billy Corgan's pedal board.

  • is this thing similar to the zvex mastotron? which do you prefer?

  • negative.... depends on the music u play but zvex IMO is a little more versitale

  • but this this is freaking sweet too

  • Love the sound of this baby.

  • wow

    You voice...

    reminds me of Jack Black!

  • cool demo gmd. Do you have a dark peppermint yet? I just picked one up, it is really cool. Kind like a darker, crazier sunface nkt even the tranies in the dark look like nkt's. It would be cool if you did a demo comparing dark to regular peppermint's.

  • Sorry to say, the HBE-UFO is going to be my next fuzz. I've tried everything and the UFO nails the Peppermint lead line, Ina-Gadda-Da-Vidda riff, Fuzzface, everything. Still, it won't look as cool as this pedal!

  • It says on the website that it's delicate to certain power adapters being plugged into pedals around it.

What types and what does that mean exactly?

It sounds wicked cool, but I would be super concerned with f*cking it up.

  • If this pedal is modeled after the fuzz tone on 'Incense and Peppermint', then what it's actually replicating is the fuzz/distortion of a Vox Super Beatle. It's not too far off sounding, IMO.

  • I want this.

  • this sounds like jack black

  • that strat sounds great....is it a 62 reissue?

  • Jack Black! =D

    XD

  • does this have a place for a power thing

  • jack black?

  • lol that would be soo bad ass

  • @StevenLTF i thought the same thing

  • Have you got a Dark Peppermint Fuzz GMD?

  • Comment removed

  • I need this one so badly

  • Who does the song in the beginning... I am just getting in to some of the old surf music, and the type of music heard on Pulp Fiction and Kill BIll, so please let me know.

  • Get into Link Wray immediately.

  • why dont you just look up the kill bill soundtrack? derrrrr

  • actually...I think that one was Dick Dale....

    ROCK!

    GMD

  • Can you buy analogman pedals anywhere in Europe? It costs so much to order from the Analogman's website, cuz I live in Finland :(

  • How does this compare to the NKT-275 Sunface?

  • A lot more gain and a bit brighter, also more buzzlike on some settings.

  • maybe the sweetest sounding fuzz on youtube, got to get one so I can see if it is the sweetest sounding one live!

  • That fuzz sounds so good it's ridiculous.

  • sounds just like Jack Black lol

  • thats exactly what i thought man!!!!

  • What's the song in the intro?

  • I think its a Dick Dale tune...in fact I know it is...but can't remember which one!!

    ROCK ON!

    GMD

  • @doncasoni It's the Power of Soul by Jimi Hendrix off the Band of Gypsy's album

  • GMD, you have hella cool straps on both of your demo guitars, clearly a major factor in your delicious guitar tones. Perhaps you should do a video on the often overlooked factor.

  • It looks like you love your fuzz, you should check out the Malekko assmaster!

  • who doesn't love fuzz...

  • Killed it with quality...haha classic.

  • How long did it take to find the amp that you use all the time? Because your tone is very good and I am jealous. lol

Your sound is very professional! You must know how to tweak those knobs.

  • actually...I sound the same through a peavey bandit! really... but the MAZ amps are so awesome on their own...no pedals needed...

    ROCK!

    GMD

  • Cool thanks.

  • I can only dream of this pedal. MAN THAT SOUNDS NICE! Hendrix city all the way. What a musical fuzz pedal, if you dig fu pedals you should try out Fuzzie Bro Pedals, that cat knows how to make a killer fuzz. Probably the only fuzz pedals tha stand up to the big dogs these days.

  • does jack white use this? looks and sounds like he would.

  • Ahhh Dayum. I smell a Univox / Analogman shootout...

  • Another day another fuzz! thanks Gearman, I like this pedal and I like Mike P. Just got me a BC 108 Sunface... gruntin' like Tim Allen!

  • uuhhh...ohhh....ohhhh

    gmd

  • Cool Review! I've wanted a Peppermint Fuzz for quite a while. I think this might have pushed me over the edge!
