im not going to sue them, i believe it's those people who've lost their homes and have been physically or mentally hurt who deserve some kind of compensation. they're gonna need therapy, money and lots of both. yes the employees should be ashamed as well but as we all know you lead by example. therefor, the bastard who was running the company obviously was one to blame but there were so many people who weren't doing their jobs. SO many to blame. it could've been prevented.......
yup thats for sure. The owner is to be blamed, hiring workers that arent qualified, an arent trained properly to be working at such a high risk industry, that shouldnt have happened. They are to be blamed. AN FOR SURE SUNRISE IS GONE! I CAN GURANTEE THEY WILL NEVER HAVE THERE LICENSE AGAIN UNTILL JUSTICE HAS BEEN MADE. =)
you cannot absolutely not lose your job because you want yourself to be safe as well as the people working in it as well as the people who are living around it! If u do lose your job because you reported unsafe practices you report them end of story.
To the workers who didn't say anything about the unsafe practices are at fault as well even though I understand their work is important to them BUT SO IS THEIR SAFETY and the SAFETY OF THE PEOPLE AROUND THEM! SHAME ON YOU SUNRISE EMPLOYEES, SHAME SHAME SHAME! Now that they didn't say anything and this had to happen well, I hope they learn something from this when ever u see something unsafe being done YOU REPORT IT
Well I heard that training was limited in Sunrise..TAKE SUNRISE DOWN!! We're gonna take every penny they got. I'm very lucky my house is not damaged and my family is ok,but I'm pissed at sunrise because of all the unsafe practices. Smoking, illegal truck to truck transferring and training was limited. I'm really glad they got their license revoked cause they put people in the neighbourhood including there workers in danger, the owner's an idiot.
and apparently its 3 people who are dead now. i think an elderly lady went home and saw what happened or something, dont quote me on this, and was like stressed out and had a heart attack. ok, so it's not direct but still...
yeah it knocked my butt over in bed too... i went to one of the meetings held yesterday and it was just as confusing and annoying. all i know is anyone who gives a shit has to support getting these industrial assholes out of residential areas. besides, they broke a lot of rules and regulations, didn't pass a bunch of inspections and those people who approved everything being there need a kick in the head. negligence. see what happens if you dont do your job properly? they're all pricks. fuck em
LOL who said terrorists did it? an u never know...maybe that employee thats missing, suicide or something...u never know it possibly could be a propane leak.
not even, show me the link then. Ive been watching the news probly more than you have on this incident. An obviously if there was a fire it would casue a chain reaction becasue of the Heat pressure in each tank, because there was a fire. but little do you know they do not know how it all started. And its commonsense that if one cylinder or w.e blows it will casue a chain reaction becasue propane is highly flameable.
i seen it on global tv, i dont know where the hell to find it though, maybe itd be on global er soething, but im not lying they said it was caused by a chain reaction
"The cause of the blast, which sent vivid orange fireballs into the early morning sky, is still under investigation." look at The Toronto Star front page, Click on the image of the late Bob Leeks photo, an scroll down to the last sentence.
Of course the Fire will continue becasue of a chain reaction, But that isnt the initial casue. There had to be something else to have started this Explosion.
they said it was a chain reaction on global news, maybe there wrong er something, but honestly thats what they said, "the explosion was initially caused by a chain reaction"
i think what hes been trying to say for so long is that there has to be something to start the chain reaction. i read at cbc(dot)com that some of the workers were smoking
When any sort of compressed tank is heated the pressure in the tank is raised, so in order to keep the tanks from exploding and sending shrapnel everywhere (to be honest I'm not quite sure if it's like this for propane or at least these tanks) there's a release valve that sends propane every where instead of propane *and* high velocity steel.
one firefighter and the guy who was working alone at the place. my house isnt far and let me tell ya it scared the shit outta me..... i cant sleep...i keep hearing it.. it looks cool but that's it man.
yeah it was really scary...it knocked me an my parents an my brother right out of bed. at first since i live like right beside the 401 i thought it was like a major accident, but then i went outside...an boy was that flameball bright an big.
yes they confirmed 1 firefighter, an they found a body today an the scene, but they are not confirming yet if it is the person that is missing or what.
