i just ordered your book on amazon and the clip that lead me to that was ,First day unruly horse ,David Lee Archer 1 . im not a rider yet but cariage driver . im that what they call " fiaker " in viena austria so im realy working with that horses 5 days a week and in my opinion you are the most sincerily horsman that i saw on you tube . and i think about horses a man can learn all his life . well done sir . i do backup respectfuly :)
hi david, I would like to thank you for posting all your videos! keep up the good work!
I have a question about your method, do you use it as a shortcut, because of the lack of time you can spent with each horse, or would you use a different and longer method if you had the time? I'm thinking about lateral flexion with the halter, then with the bit and move to the vertical flexion? it costs more time, but you can get the same results. And will you do the same at a lungeline once he's soft?greets
Thank you very much for sharing these videos! Working on my spoiled (unfortunately my own damn fault) little arab. So far he loves your technique and is really responding to it. I cannot thank you enough for sharing it and especially for showing things the way we are likely to encounter them - and not just what they look like when the work it done.
lol you usually say you wish you would have filmed the first time... Why not just start to do it, if you get something you don't want then simply delete it. I would like to see more of their first workings :)
WRONG!!! It was FAR from boring.... thank you so very, very much! My horses thank you, too.
