Even with more than a GHz processor, this hardware-software combo is buggy, sluggish and unresponsive. I'm no fanboy. I want to like Android. I have the Droid OG. I had the Nexus S for a month. Whenever I pick up an iOS device, it makes me sad bc there's no denying that iOS responsiveness blows Android out. The original 2007 iPhone's ui is quicker than the always-delayed latest Nexus.

@legendkillerpunt It'll still be great. It's a Nexus. No bloatware and no custom skins will be put over it. HTC will make a version of Sense to go over it, Motorola will make a new Blur and they will both slow down the phone. It'll also get the updates before any other phone.

Let me get this straight. You're worried it'll be difficult for you to press a finger, upon a super responsive touchscreen, for a 1/100th of a second to snap a pic w/out ruining it. I'm sure you'll have no worries once you go hands on w/ the cameras UI.
just remember few simple reminder to iPhone user: android can customize, have thousand of FREE apps and the UI is far more advance. and the software is open source.

Nice, you guys are so lucky to have these pre-release models. 4.0 ICS looks absolutely amazing. And that hardware is beautiful. Display is super clear. Phone seems to respond so fast. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for this to hit the States, in mid Nov!!!

so face unlock only works if the lighting is the same as when you take the original. It looks pointless and slower than just doing the pass code. I have a feeling people are just going to use passcodes after like a week

I'm honestly sick of people comparing every phone to the iPhone. The iPhone is smooth and sleek, but it is old news now. The new update sucks balls. OHH SIRI. seriously? haha have fun talking to your phone in public and looking like an ass hole. this phone will be just as smooth and let you do so much more (one great example is NFC).

Why do all these tech. guys insist on rushing to make these hands on vids w/out familiarizing themselves first . It makes the devices look like their crappy when it's actually being used in the hands of crap.

Let me get this straight. You're worried it'll be difficult for you to press a finger, upon a super responsive touchscreen, for a 1/100th of a second to snap a pic w/out ruining it. I'm sure you'll have no worries once you go hands on w/ the cameras UI.

just remember few simple reminder to iPhone user: android can customize, have thousand of FREE apps and the UI is far more advance. and the software is open source.
