this cutscene made me cry. when i saw liquid pass by snake and he was just looking at him i shed tears. its because i was telling myself, " how could liquid be so bad and cause all of this and strayed from the path that snake did?" he was so different from snake and was like the opposite of him. it got me sort of in a psychological way. then when i heard snake say "OTACON!!!" was when it really hit me. liquids and snakes relationship was so harsh

My girlfriend watched me play MGS3 all the way through and we were both crying at the end. The microwave sequence was so saddening and powerful, that if you know these characters and you've been with them this whole time, then you can't help but feel a sense of sadness and dread when they are going through all this torment. Metal Gear is by far one of the most prominent, powerful, and emotional series of games out there, for now and forever.

I feel sad for people that played MGS4 before playing all the old games. At the scene when you are crawling toward GW, and the top half of the screen shows you everyone else's struggle was so sad. But I think its only me who so far thinks the saddest part is when Raiden tells snake he will hold off the guards while snake goes on. And Johnny and Meryl. Amazing Climax. It's Hideo Kojima who's made all the games, not Konami as a whole. And do you not see any MGS news. Metal Gear Solid Rising is coming out with Raiden as the main protagonist. And it'll come out for PS3, 360 and PC. (Which I'm happy about. Not because it's coming out for 360, but because it's coming out on PC.)

And Metal Gear Peace Walker is coming out for the PSP, which is the second part of Big Boss's saga, which will fill in the missing gap between Metal Gear Solid 3 and Metal Gear one.
