  • Patrick was one of the greatest free thinkers and freedom fighters ever to grace these realms. He was clearly bemused by the fact so many still sheepishly fail to grasp the numerous symbolic messages in The Prisoner, that our current society is not libertarian and that the controllers want the whole world to become The Village.

  • i wonder what happened to mcgoohan's bible for "the prisoner."

  • the worst thing about the whore called " movie industry" is how it can turn around and

suddenly make it self look holy by making making something like " the prisnor "..

MC Ghoohan was always a heavy weight but Lew Grade was the consumate mr.

    "big brother

  • Sir Lew Grade gave us the marvelous movie "Capricorn One." Maybe someone else also mentioned this? Twas all about faking a NASA space landing on the moon. Great movie!

  • Respected Patrick McGoohan before he prostrated himself before the anti-semitic bigot Mel Gibson. Lost all respect for the man after this.

  • I wonder if such wonder could happen nowaday... impossible ?

  • C ...

Here it can be seen at the end of this clip, that final scene. Nr. 6 himself is shown behind the 2 masks of Nr. 1 To be honest, before seeing and understanding it now, I had to listen to those 4 parts of a talkshow, where he discloses that almost hidden statement: "The prisoner puzzle"

  • B ...

Even years ago those last scenes in the last episode where so dadaistic and bizarre to me, so psychedelic nightmarish, that I could not grasp that final revelation about who would be Nr. One, even when I saw it.

  • A ...

Nr. One ... is the I ... the ego !

After 43 years today I finally understood the final quest from 'The Prisoner' (Nr. 6) ... even though I would have been ready before to dig this - because of my spiritual knowledgability.

  • I love Patrick McGoohan. He was bright, handsome, intelligent .. and he was my childhood hero. He was for a lot of us.

    Thanks!

  • Thank you so much!! McGoohan was (and remains) both a highly respected & beloved actor AND childhood hero to me, my brother and sister. :-)

  • Wonderful, thank you so much for uploading! Can't believe they did that Prisoner thing at the end though.. you know what I mean ;)

  • @theinnerlight87 spoiler alert :0
