So far, i'm playing this and it's pretty good, definately one of the N64's better titles, but the main reason i got it was because someone i know told me "OH MAN, YOU'VE NEVER PLAYED PERFECT DARK? It's like an improved version of goldeneye! And it's better than those crapp, overrated Turok games," i must say, after playing a good deal of it, everything is pretty good except for two things, Enemy AI and fucking level design. And to think he compared it to Turok 2, saying it was crap, PEH.

This game had terrible framerate issues. On the third level it was so bad, you had to snipe these guys at like 5fps with a thumbstick. Not good! They were bad even for the time. By contrast, Medal of Honor on the PSOne was just fine. I'd give the SP portion of this a 5/10.

You must have been playing without the expansion pack. There is no such issues with it.

@ExtremeBogom I did have the expansion pack. It is required to play the single player mode, which is where the framerates sucked, in both regular and high-res modes. I was playing the PAL version though; perhaps the NTSC version runs a little smoother.

You want to talk about rip off, talk about all the new crap, they deliberately release beta versions of the game, sell you the beat and instead of fixing the trash you just bought for 70$ they release dlc, or content they deliberately postponed to drain more money out of you, and to tide you over till the sequel. The sequel that's really just an update.

I've owned this since it came out in 2000 and I am still only rank 2: Near Perfect in the Combat Simulator, with only 11 days of gameplay and not enough distance ran or damage dealt to reach #1. I've played over 4,000 matches, too, and since you can't earn headshot or accuracy medals without other human players, my Killmaster and Survivor awards greatly outshine those two. Did the XBOX port fix that? But PerfectSims and DarkSims have nothing on me so I might as well be rank 1.

@Orbits20Productions A combination of the stick and D pad, and trigger. It has auto aim or u can turn it off and play manually. I wore out 3 controllers playing this game, I just finished playing it a few minutes ago. It has a combat simulator that u can set up in an almost unlimited amout of scenarios. My player saved in the game has over 40 24 hour days of playing time.
