Wow! This is incredible.

The aircraft looks a lot like the first P40. Obviously it must be something else because it is carrying at least 3 tons of ammo and yet pulling 20G turns without stalling. It outperforms any aircraft known to man and could fly loops around an angry wasp. Not even Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader have anything that flies like this.

Something is being simulated here, something so incredibly unreal that the almost realistic clouds seem out of place. So what is it for?

acctualy this is the perl harbor scenario of pacific storm a action strategy were u have more than just flight u have massive battles were u can have 300 planes in the air at any1 time but u need a good pc ;) u have full fleets of carriers battleships ect it has a map of the pacific you need to research aircraft weapon systems ship radars ect it basical give u command of the nations war resources it requires alot of time and skill if you play without cheats

most realistic air combat sim ive played is WWII online. its an mmo where players battle over belgium, with tanks inf and ships. but the air combat is is very realiastic and if ur new u feel like ur a rookie in battle of britain. since ur up against real players not AI.

for me, a air combat game without a cockpit view is not realistic at all, i do like seeing different camera views just to admire the planes, but with no cockpit view or gauge cluster its just not worth playing. but thats only my opinion. many of the flight combat games are just that, games too arcade like. I need a combat sim that requires a attention span. but if you like it thats all that matters

@christianbangs yea thats actually how they were, look up how they used what is called a interupter gear that prevented the gun from firing when the blade of the prop was infront of the gun barrell. basicly the gun fired in between the propeller as it spun

WOAH VOLUMETRIC FOG AND PARTICLE PHYSICS EMULATION!- AWSOMEEE! lol- no this game really does look cool and the graphics are pretty decent for a flight sim/arcade like game.The mid air explosions, and clouds of gun smoke exploding in the air along with some good sound effects and music really make this game intense, and im not even playing it!
