    btw. here in East Europe is used to say hockey instead of ice hockey too

  • Here they do use homecoming but inter-change Alumni weekend. Hockey= ice hockey have to use additional word for: field hockey, roller hockey, underwater hockey and the table top game is called air hockey.

    I hope to see the nobel prize got to the daily english show!

  • The popular definition of Autumn differs from Fall. Autumn is when the foliage changes color as an indication of the end of summer. Fall is when the leaves fall from the tree. The question is asked to folks of other areas, "Has Fall started?" Autumn is on a calender, not fall.
