  • are you getting gas cooking at the new joint ????

  • I feel u. I am in the process of moving. I know what a pain in the ass it is. :)

  • so?..... po box still the same

  • @wingscancer Yes, I'll be keeping the same PO Box. I'm staying in the same area, just moving to a different house ;)

  • Congratulations on both the new house and the cookbook. Very exciting stuff. Yeah, water soluble paint only remains so until it dries = otherwise you'd wash the paint off every time you wiped the walls. Yes, Nook is huge here in the US. I have software on my laptop and cell phone for both Google Books and Kindle. I love having a lot of books to choose from without carrying a giant bag! Good luck!

  • i really understand how troublesome it is to move to new place. been packing and unpacking 2 times this year and will do the next one in a week. :(

cheers and good luck, David! :)

  • nook is HUGE in the US, I'm pretty sure it works in the Kindles

  • Good luck with the reno and move mate.

  • Don't worry even strait ppl can't paint :-) congrats on the new place

  • Wishing you ALL the BEST! I hope your home turns out fabulously! You deserve the most wonderful kitchen! I think we all wish we could come and help you with all your moving and renovation! Congratulations on the 'expansion' of your book! Barnes and Noble Nook is VERY big in the U.S.! Fantastic news!

  • Getting professional painters costs so much I don't mind painting I find it therapeutic. Exciting news about your cook book. Good luck with the move and getting the new kitchen in.

  • Why do you move in a new house?

  • @pocketbikefreak666 It's a long story, but basically my current house is too small and the rent is too expensive ;)

  • Barns and Nobel are a big chain of book stores in the states. E books are a big thing in the states.

  • I get paint everywhere when I paint as well.

  • Wish you luck in your new apartment...and good news..will be getting your book at Barnes and Noble...hugs, louise

  • Best wishes David. We love your cooking videos. My wife and I love crock pot cooking!

  • Dave try auto soap that worked for me. Here is hoping that your move goes very well.

  • use kerosine and it will wipe off with a swab,

  • lol heavy water solable.

  • Painting is damn tough work !

  • clean ur fingers with methalated spirites

  • This is very exciting news indeed.

  • New house?! I love moving :)

If you live around Sydney, i'd be more than happy to help!

If not, I shall send my 'good-helpful-vibes over your way :3

Good luck with everything! It will be worth it when it's all done.

    Much Love,

    Jess x.

  • LOL!! That's what were doing one room at a time. Just knock out a wall. But hubby now think we should have not!! LOL!! He really good a painting and decorating for a Straight guy. Make you think HHHMMMmmmmm. LOL!! Good luck and be bless!!!

  • Hang in there! It will be over in no time and you will beback making cooking videos for us again, we are waiting! :)

  • I love painting! If I could fly over from NZ I'd help you lol :p

  • House tour, yes!!

  • Wish I could help you with your new digs. I do love decorating, painting and such :) Stressful to move even if it's a good one so make sure and take care of yourself. Will be excited to see the new place especially the kitchen! Hugs.

  • @cozzyk Feel free to fly over and grab a paintbrush - trust me I won't stop you!!! :P

  • @OnePotChefBlog Just watched another of ya vids ,Good call on going with real science to know Human Climate Change is not real . Knowing it's a NWO Global Government Agenda push is proof of that , which is their Plan called Agenda 21 Sustainable Development. Depopulation. Google Free View Documentaries watch a few hundred docos to educate how it's all about genocide to kill 90% Worldwide, is why they errected Georgia Guidstones to tell us that.

  • Moving is always stressful, but the end result is what you have to keep in mind. Please can you do a video tour of the new place? 1950's house sounds interesting :)

  • @Sh0ckmaster It's actually 1960's and it's nothing special to see. Just a sad box in need of some TLC (and a crapload of painting!) - but hopefully by the time we're done, it should look a lot more homely :)

  • house tour vlog!!!

  • Wow Dave sounds great!!! You can get some painting tips of Nicko haha :)

  • @TheKiwiCook I asked him, but he sent some cryptic reference to flaming school buses that I interpreted as his lack of interest in flying over and painting my house LOL

  • Didn't you just move recently?

  • @FlyLady13 Nope - last move was a few years ago ;)

  • @polowasabidog Well Fuk off. you don't have to watch Him.

  • @polowasabidog That's ok - you won't have to worry about seeing my videos any more ;)

  • @polowasabidog Then you must have time to twirl around on your own thumb if you are tired of my dear friend but have nothing better to do than to drop comments of a 12 year old. Move on.

  • @polowasabidog gtfo.

  • Yes, please. Do a walk-through vlog of the house before. Then do one after the bathroom and kitchen makeover.

  • "Genetically programmed gay" . What a hoot - you made me laugh out loud! Are you buying the house?

  • @GlendaMoore Yes, I'm buying the house with my housemate - we're sick of renting a tiny shack we can't renovate! :)

  • cool

  • Bought a home? Congrats on the book being on apple, etc.

  • Gas stove in the kitchen.??

  • @MyAussieDay Sadly not - the only way I could get gas was with a cylander under the house, and I don't like the idea of that. So, I'll be sticking with an electric stove, but hopefully a new one if the budget allows ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Bottled gas is waaaay expensive. We used to have it when we lived out in the middle of nowhere 7 years ago.

  • Congrats again on your new house! I can't begin to tell you how much I wish we had a chance to renovate our house before we moved in but we'll be getting the paint cans out soon too.

There's a reason no-one ever sees more than a small part of my kitchen benchtop ;-)

  • @Knittingand I can relate to that. I can't film in the existing kitchen as there is literally no bench space, and the kitchen is so small I doubt I could film without tripping over the tripod! But all will soon be fixed :)

  • @OnePotChefShow Lol, I'm with you on the "no bench space". I went to Bunnings to get a new countertop and when I told them I only had use for 2ft of benchtop they told me they couldn't sell me a piece that small because they don't sell offcuts. Honestly, I only needed a foot and a half ;-)

I make all TheVintageKitchen videos in a kitchen 7x11ft (no joke). It can be done but it is difficult.

  • We really need to see before/after pics and vids of the new kitchen. (maybe the rest of the house too)

    Please?

  • @ScrapyardApe I'll be doing before and afters of the kitchen and the bathroom, but the rest of the house is a little difficult as much of the work has already started. Trust me when I say, the kitchen is in for some BIG changes!

  • Have fun with the move and renovating mate! If you need help let me know! Also pimp hat in the background again :D

  • @grindsmygearsAU The pimp hat is quickly becoming my new mascot! :)

  • @OnePotChefShow It's my goal to make it the official mascot of the Blog channel and soon to be Cooking channel!

  • Goodluck with the move! :D all the best
