Some tiny RC helicopters are cheap, this is a flying robot. It's very different. This is an autonomous flying machine, very different from a radio controlled flying lump of plastic.

No, you're wrong. For something to hover it has to be able to move in at least three different planes, this is because flying machines naturally "drift". A device that's autonomous is always going to be more complicated than something that is receiving direct human signals, especially a flying device because positions for servos, speed etc have to be constantly updated. The electronics involved is more complicated and there is more of it. I'm sorry but it's simply a fact.
