an epic construct. My favorite piece. The Tubes beat Zappa at his own game. Satire, complexity, GROOVE, and showmanship. Nothing against Frank Zappa, but I think ITS TRUE!
yup. i did check and found out he was the drummer on this album. my bad. maybe i was thinking of the first rush album without neil. of all the tubes albums, i like the sound and feel of this one the best. this song and space baby i think are my two favorites.
@Paulsworks Prairie RULES man! I've been lucky enough to see him several times with different bands, Rundgren, Jefferson, etc., and it's always a real treat. Great guy.
love the drums on this track. good to see a drummer just go for a change. and the weird part is, i don't believe this is the great Prarie Prince on this debut album
this should be a cover song fore lady gagas charecter jo

Interesting depiction of the SUN and the 12 signs of the Zodiac. The last person, second row holding a plate signifying the "age" of Aries.

@hooglaz
No Prairie-
no Tubes, man!
Prairie is the core of the Tubes, founding member.
Don´t underrate him just because he´s the drummer :)

@zebonaut Prairie IS the man......He's a fuckin' machine, maybe the best rock drummer ever, Yet he toils in obscurity. I don't understand it.

Produced and co-written by the infamous
Al "Super Session" Kooper for A&M in '75.
Exquisite.
